WORTH IT
I’ve had breathing problems for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I would get flareups and a burning sensation in my nose that made it really hard to breathe. As I got older, it started to affect my sleep and overall quality of life.
When I saw an ENT in the U.S., I was told I had swollen turbinates and a deviated septum. The quote I got for surgery was between $15,000–$20,000, and to be honest, I wasn’t impressed with the results I was seeing from doctors I researched. Due to the fact that I seen many patients needed revisions, and the cost just didn’t feel worth it.
That’s when I started looking abroad and came across my doctor in Istanbul. I booked an online consultation right away, and he was amazing. He listened carefully, explained everything thoroughly, and pointed out additional issues I wasn’t even aware of. What gave me peace of mind was that hospital was internationally accredited, he is highly qualified, and an ENT specialist, meaning his work is not just focused on aesthetics, but on the actual function of the nose.
My experience was incredible from start to finish. The hotel was arranged as part of my package, which made the whole trip stress-free and recovery easy. After surgery, I had no bruising in my case and was able to walk around right away. The assistant Seray, was so kind and helpful and was always available to answer my questions. Everyone I met including the doctor spoke English, and even the staff at the hospital who didn’t went out of their way to be welcoming. Seray always jumped in when there was a language barrier to help translate and was always by my side during prep and after procedure. She was such a sweet heart and made my time so easy being there, thank you!
Not only did I feel safe and cared for as a patient, but I also got to enjoy Istanbul as a solo traveler. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’m only 2 weeks post-op and am able to work again with no pain at all. I 100% recommend this doctor and have zero regrets.
