It has been a year since I got double eyelid...
It has been a year since I got double eyelid surgery in South Korea. Time flies.
Since I’m asian living in the states, I thought having double eyelid surgery in asia was better than USA, so decided to look up plastic surgery in Asia. Among many of them, Korean plastic surgeons seemed to be the most popular in the world, so I made my mind to visit Korea for plastic surgery.
I’d searched for a long time and prepared to make a trip for plastic surgery in Korea, without my expectation, South Korea was nice an safe. Their service was great as well.
I’d grown up having small and sleepy eyes since I was young, I was never happy with the eyes.
Looking at my friend who got double eylid surgery in South Korea, I wanted to have big and clear eyes more and more, and as a result, I determined to go to have double eyelid surgery.
I’d looked and searched for reviews with before and after of lots of plastic surgery clinics, in many of them, I chose View PS since their outcomes looked awesome.
I had double eyelid surgery from Dr.Kim Jung Min of View Plastic Surgery. Before surgery, he explained in detail how the surgery would go and listened how I’d like to give change to my eyes. His bedside manner felt so genuine and delicate.
Actually, I was really nervous, but there were a lot of patients and some even looked they came for treatment after surgery. Those got me relaxed and comfortable.
The surgery took about 2 hours, I didn’t have severe pain because I was under the anesthesia, and I felt heavy and tired but that was all. I started taking medicine and ointment they prescribed from the next day.
I made visits to the hospital a couple of times for treatment and removing stitches. My Dr. checked on me and said the surgery had gone well, so I said I appreciated as well.
Staying in Korea for a week, I could make last check-up with him and return to the airport.
My eyes were seriously swollen and awkward for a couple of weeks after surgery, but then it started going down as I massaged with ice pack and took medicine.
My face was weird around a month after I had surgery done, but then I could see beautiful double eyelids as swelling was fading out.
90% of swelling got better after 3 months, and when it had passed 6 months, beautiful and natural eyes appeared as a final outcome and people didn’t even notice that I had the surgery.
Now, I even regret why I didn’t get the surgery which got me beautiful sooner.
I’m more than happy to meet great plastic surgery hospital and Korean surgeons with satisfying result.
