The Beautiful Nose That I’d Been Waiting For.

Since I was little, I always wanted to overhaul my nose. I didn’t really have a bridge and the tip was quite flat and bulbous, which is a characteristic of a lot of Asian noses.
Two of my friends had done rhinoplasty with this Korean doctor, and I really liked their results. What is amazing about him (which I believe other doctors aren’t gifted with) is his eye for individual beauty. He doesn’t give all his patients the same cookie-cutter nose, but tailors it carefully to their face. With me, he was reluctant to give the narrow nose that I showed him in a picture, because he could foresee that it wouldn’t look good with my wide face.
I agreed, so then thought about what would really suit me - a higher bridge, a little curve from the side (instead of the perfect straight slope which he usually gives to patients). But I decided not to tell him any of this because I just trusted his skill. Surprisingly, he did exactly what I wanted to my nose! I no longer have my bulbous nose, but a very natural tip that slopes nicely from the side and isn’t too thin. (I know that a thin nose can look amazing on some people, so he puts it on them, but he didn’t give it to me which means there must have been a reason).
Another thing that also stands out about VIP clinic is their service. They gave me a hair wash and facial for every day of my recovery period when I couldn’t shower, and the nurses were incredibly kind and friendly. They also gave me a pickup and drop off to the airport, as I came from overseas. (This is something you don’t find at other clinics, who don’t usually bother with you after you’ve paid them).
I was anticipating a lot of pain, because some rhinoplasty patients from here report a sharp pain in their nose and chest (where they harvest your cartilage). So I asked for extra painkillers, and thankfully I didn’t feel anything whatsoever in my nose. My chest still kind of hurt though, this shooting pain when I sat up and laid down, but only for about 5 days. Chest pain perhaps 6/10, nose pain 0/10.
It is now day 14 for me and I’m extremely happy with my nose. I’ve attached a few pictures. If you decide to visit this clinic, a few suggestions: not all our wish noses suit us, listen to your doctor’s advice as he knows more than us and if possible ask for extra painkillers :) during the surgery. The painkiller will help you for 3 days or so. In my case my nose had 0 pain from the moment I woke up from the surgery.
