Thigh, Abdomen Liposuction and BBL in S. Korea- My Experience at Fresh PS
On the Day of Surgery,
My surgery was scheduled in the afternoon so I was extremely thirsty on my way to hospital (I got informed not to drink water 6 hours prior to surgery) however when I arrived at the clinic the thirst was gone! My friend accompanied me there lol she told me that “this kind of stuff is important and so she will act as my guardian” lol.
When I arrived at the clinic, I was led into the consultation room for the precautions to be explained to me. It included things like the possible side effects after care and so on. It also asked me for any medical conditions such as high blood pressure. Not recently, but at times I do have a bit of coughing so I told them about my asthma conditions and how rarely, but sometimes I use my in-haler. Then I was asked to sign a surgery consent form that noted things like post-surgery swelling and bruising! Following on from that, they took me into the photo room to take frontal and back pictures of my bod! Actually it was from all different angles! Haha Oh! Next was the payment! For me, I paid with my auzzie credit card cuz I didn’t want to carry around a handful of cash. The only cash I had to take was for my compression garment! It is a lil pricy but at Fresh you get these custom-made to fit you perfectly so from my experience it was soooo worth it!! >>
Next, different from last consultation time where I was led to the powder room to get changed into hospital gown, the consultant brought me straight into one of their recovery rooms where Dr. Hong came in to do the design!
I guess the preparation for surgery took roughly around 1 hour including the time where I was led into the recovery room. I was able to take my belongings in like my phone for use after surgery. The recovery room was where Dr. Hong came in to do the design! That didn’t scare me at all cuz I had seen many of these online where doctors do the drawing on you before surgery. After that, the nurses came in and gave me an inhaler; this was in case of coughing during surgery.
In a few moments, I went to the surgery room. The surgery room I can remember actually had was neatly tidied and was spacious than I thought so the atmosphere calmed me down. Before I was put to sleep with the anesthesia injection I was disinfected with the red liquid over my body and then put on the operation bed! Good bye everyone~!
Post-Surgery
After surgery I was prescribed with some medicine and disinfectant (Providone) on my way back home to apply on the incision areas. I was feeling much weaker than in the morning and I could feel pain and aching on the whole of the lower half of my body! Nevertheless, nothing comes without pain! I was escorted by my friend and attendant to get changed into baggy clothes. I was not allowed shower for 5 days counting surgery day as day 0. I guess this was the hardest part of all but how I overcame this was to visit a hair salon and then to pay them for just shampooing my hair! Lol The surgery took just over 3 hours and that night my friend and I ordered some take-outs to have at home!!
Day 6 was when I revisited for the after care. I didn’t do any heavy exercise or much moving around just taking light walks around the Apgujeong area and making visits to the nearest café. Waiting for my results to turn out quickly!!
Those of you who had surgeries done may know that swelling tends to start from the top of body and move its way down.. So I could feel my feet badly swollen around day 6~7! During the treatment care process I always had the light thingee over me/ That was the Healight machine which uses LED beam to promote regeneration. Also I remember that during my second treatment the warm high-frequency machine was used to help with the bruises that remained.
The Last visit to the clinic was day 10 for me for stitch removal! The Stitch removal process didn’t hurt at all and by that time my weight had dropped significantly haha! All that hard effort didn’t come for free I thought. // Also I think that my cellulite- the orange peel has been visibly reduced maybe the after-care treatments have helped?!
Now into Week 4! -I can’t remember the last time I saw some clear lining in my butts! Haha
Now I am back in my office in Aus……………………………. I will update you with more when I have time. In the mean time I will stay on a strict diet plan to keep the fat off see yaz!

Hi there forumers! I thought it would be nice to...
Hi there forumers! I thought it would be nice to share my experience with you at Fresh, a clinic in Gangnam Korea. First of all, I’d like to say that I had 2 purposes for my visit to Korea. One was to see one of my besties from high school and the other of course, to receive my lipooo! I had saved up quite a bit for this moment and so this trip was certainly going to be a Gooood one!!
I am now into 4th week after receiving my lipo-suction on the waist and thighs plus the fat grafting for my upper buttocks. Although the final results are yet to come, what I have lost now is convincing me to re-take this procedure on other parts of my body!
My stay in Korea was over a 3 week period. At first I booked 2 weeks flight back but extended my stay as I thought the first week I should leave aside to hang out with my friend.
The first week in Seoul passed by real quick, my friend took me around Gyeong-bok Gung (the palace), the Seoul Tower and so on but we pretty much spent every night drinking around Itaewon and Gangnam Station. Traveling here from sizzling hot summer, the near 0 degree Korean weather was killing me but also it was the reason that I could get the work done cuz everywhere I went, everyone was wrapped in their long jumpers like a caterpillar! Haha
So my first visit (the consultation) at Fresh went quite fluently; as expected. The clinic had a friendly atmosphere, an English speaking consultant there to assist me throughout the process. What I liked about FRESH was that nothing was really over-exaggerated. They were very honest in what kind of results to expect and they informed me that a liposuction couldn’t act as a ‘magical-wand’ for losing all the weight off me lol. However, they were going to do their best to remove the most fat they can!! I have to admit that I did have a few runner-ups and hesitated between Fresh and 365mc but I liked how Fresh specialized in Fat Grafting too.
The coordinator suggested me to receive their special Quad-Liposuction on my stomach/waist where the love handles are and also my thighs. This process, they explained in detail involves the ACCU body sculpture process which is helpful in removing the micro-fat. This is, I guess to concentrate more on the actual outer line of my ugly thighs and all. Also she suggested that my legs would have a longer-looking effect with a slight lift on my upper buttocks just like a Brazilian butt lift! When I asked about my fatty arms, the coordinator suggested that since it’s my first operation, it would be ideal to concentrate on my most concerned areas and with satisfying results I could be back next year!
Shortly after the consultation, I had time to meet Dr. Hong the chief surgeon at Fresh and I asked him some questions like the incision areas and so on. He informed me not to worry and he would do his best on the day of surgery! And so I decided to go with the 3; Lipo for my thighs and waist (including the love handles) plus the fat grafting to my butts! I was lucky enough to book in for the surgery 2 days after the consultation due to a cancelled operation! They could fit me in on that time. The consultant gave me instructions on what to do or what not to do before the surgery such as fasting for a couple of hours and no jewelry etc.!
I add some pics I took prior to surgery just in case I wanted to compare myself after lipo. Photos of my waist and thighs Before Surgery.
