Swelling has started to go down although I am still holding onto about 6-8 lbs of water weight. My legs swell up when I am up and walking so it feels nice to lay down frequently. Lipo sites feel really hard and tight right now, which I am told will resolve in several weeks. My measurements are slightly higher than before surgery due to the swelling but overall I can see an improvement in body contour.

How is your retention? What is your before and after cup size?

I don't really know about cup size because I've never fit bras properly and I don't think cup sizes are the same across the board for different brands. But my chest measurement before surgery was about 30.5 inches and now I'm 32. They are not much bigger [RS bleep], but they look rounder and just nicer shape all around.

Hi Dear, just wondering how are your results now? Were you alone and able to take care of yourself during the surgery? I’m reallt interested in flying to Korea but nervous because I would be by myself.

Hi! I was alone and was able to take care of myself after the surgery. I flew back home after 5 days, but wouldn't recommend that. It was incredibly draining emotionally and very stressful. If you can, bring a partner or someone that is willing to stay with you and take care of you for at least 2 days. If you do end up going alone, I do not recommend Regen. I think that their surgeons are highly skilled BUT their postoperative nursing team is absolute trash. I will write a post about it later. They were negligent and incompetent to take care of me during the 13 hours I stayed at the clinic post surgery. Hopefully they will hire better nurses in the future, but even if they do, I don't think the facility is conducive to postop care, as there is no call bells in the private rooms. Every time I needed to get the attention of the nurses, I had to scream at the top of my lungs repeatedly until they heard me. Unacceptable!

That is unfortunate to hear. Sorry you had to go through that. I may think to go with dr Arthur Tjandra in Medan. They only have one surgery per day and are at your beck n call so I heard. Thanks for sharing love.

Hi, I was reading your review with great interest. I am about the same height and shape as you and I am currently living in Seoul.
I have been thinking about your procedure for a while. How did you choose your clinic? I did a lot of research but find it so difficult without speaking Korean. Do you speak the language? What do you say now, looking back, was it worth it, would you go for a second treatment or would you recommend implants? Is there any volume left?

Hi, and thank you! I chose my clinic just by doing research online and also checking the credentials of the surgeons through the Korean Association of Plastic Surgeons. Many of the clinics have English speaking consultants, so the language barrier is not a problem. I speak very little Korean but understand quite a bit, which made me feel a bit more at ease. Looking back now, yes, it was worth it. I don't think that going back for a 2nd transfer would be worth it because I don't have enough fat to get a huge increase in size. I will get implants eventually, but I always knew that I would need multiple procedures. Because my chest was soooooo flat, I wanted to do a fat transfer first to add some volume before doing implants, because I don't like the look of people who are very slim and get implants. It just looks too fake, and it is very obvious that they have implants. I want a more natural look, and to achieve that I knew I would need more fat in my breast tissue as a first step. I hope that makes sense! Also, read my response to strwberriesxsweetie below for my thoughts on the clinic.

The procedure went well, although it took much longer than I had thought. Since I combined the BFT with transfer to face as well as calf reduction, it took a total of 13 hours. I am quite swollen everywhere. Moving positions was super difficult and painful for the first day. It has improved substantially although I am still quite sore. The surgeon said he was able to remove approx. 670 cc of fat from side and back flanks, inner thighs and armpit bulge. Approx. 300 injected into each breast.

The surgeon was able to take a lot considering how slim you are, congrats. How are you feeling now? I hope you are doing well

Thank you! I think the photos are kind of deceiving as in, I look a bit slimmer in them than in real life. I'm feeling pretty good now (took about 3 months for the lipo healing).

Yes, he is a master at liposculpture! I think lipo is the best invention to date, and the best thing I've ever done. I'm feeling great now (it took about 5-6 months for all of the tightness from the lipo sites to go away).

so how was your breast fat transfer in seoul?

Hey lady, let us lnow how's it goinf? I have similar body as yours and considered traveling to get bft done too.

Hi ysm4, so far, I'm loving the results of this procedure. My breasts aren't very much bigger, but I am in love with the liposuction results. I had pretty realistic expectations going into this procedure. I knew that I would only get a modest increase in cup size, which is what I got. I will get implants eventually, but I do not regret the fat transfer because of the contouring it has given my body shape. And since I knew that I wanted lipo, I didn't want to waste the harvested fat, which is why I chose this procedure rather than first opting for implants.

Did you consult the doctors in the US? I’m about to do the same procedure and have the same body as yours but I’m worried about the results and scarring doing it in the US so wonder if you have done your research that there’s a need to go to Korea. Thanks!

Hi bebemodo, I didn't consult doctors in the US (I'm Canadian), but I went to Korea because I know that medical tourism for plastic is big there, and their surgeons are very experienced and techniques are more advanced. I have scarring of course, but the surgeon chose very strategic incision sites so they are well-hidden. For example, to inject the fat into my breasts, he made an inscision site in my areola rather than the breast folds (which I have seen other surgeons do), so the scar is essentially invisible. For lipo in my side flanks, he went in through my belly button. I've done a lot of research and made sure that the surgeons I go to are board certified and that the facility is accredited. If you do travel for plastic surgery, make sure you do your due diligence rather than being persuaded by the lower costs.

Your info is so helpful bc my major concerns was scarring. Would u pls give me the name of your doc and the name of the facility? Also, would English speaker be a problem? Thx so much!

No, I did not consult with doctors in Canada since I knew I wanted to go to Korea for the procedure. The scarring is minimal and I'm pretty pleased with the result.
