It has been almost 3 weeks now since I got double eyelid surgery in South Korea. Finally, It is time for me to share my wonderful experience in South Korea at REGEN Plastic Surgery.
Let me introduce myself first. I am 21 years-old male from Thailand. I have recently done my double eyelid with Dr. Kim Woo Jung. He is very famous and specialize in eye and breast surgery. I always had small and sleepy eyes. So, that’s why I always want to do double eyelid surgery. You might have questions why I have chosen REGEN. After doing much research online I have chosen REGEN because they get so many good reviews from online. Secondly, the staffs at REGEN are also very nice. They always willing to help you with any questions. They are also very patient in answering all my questions. Moreover, the staff and doctors at REGEN can speak English very well. So, you don’t need to worry about language barrier. there are many services that REGEN offers such as airport pick up and drop off and partner hotel that you can choose and might receive the discount.
I have made an appointment one month before my procedure date, and you also need to pay 10% for deposit via bank transfer. Before I consulted with Dr. Kim, I have planned to do double eyelid with full incision method. However, after I have consulted with Dr. Kim. He suggested that I should go for ‘Partial-Incision with ptosis correction’ to be able to fulfill my needs that want to have bigger eyes with natural double eyelid since I have weak muscles, ‘ptosis correction’ will help to strengthen muscles in the eyes, which allows my eyes to open it bigger.
The surgery took around 1 hour. During the surgery, I didn’t fully sleep because I was under local anesthetics but believe me, you don’t have been scary. You will feel like you were dreaming. After the surgery, I didn’t have that bad pain. I just felt irritated and hurt a little bit, but that only happened less a day after surgery. You will only have pain for the first day, and the pain and swelling will start to fade out and get better. I also took medicine and applied cold pack from the staff’s advice to reduce swelling. After 3 days, I went to the hospital to remove stitches, and because I have stayed in Korea for almost 10 days, I could meet with Dr. Kim for the last check up before leaving South Korea. After a week, my eyes almost fully recovered, and I can say that people cannot really see the swelling.
So far, I really satisfied about my double eyelid surgery. I eventually have beautiful and bigger eyes. All my friends said that it looked so natural if I do not tell them that I went to South Korea to have double eyelid surgery, they would not be able to notice, and they even said it looked so natural
