Hello everyone, I’m a 27 years old female originally from Hong Kong but living in Sydney. I always wanted to visit to South Korea because I LOVE everything about Korea; food, culture, music, and KOREAN PEOPLE! Koreans are good-looking and they look much younger than their actual ages. During my travel to S. Korea, I got a chance to visit to a plastic surgery hospital because one of my friends who went to Korea with me had a v line facial contouring surgery there. We went to ID hospital and I think they are very famous in Asia because when I visited there, I saw a lot of patients from foreign countries, such as Thailand, Japan, China, and even Mongolia.
As soon as we went into the building, we were asked by one of the receptionist if we made an appointment for the consultation. I was surprised that she spoke in English and she was fluent! We actually made an appointment before we came to Korea, so she led us to the 15th floor. ID hospital is a huge building; it has 16 floors. On the 15th floor, one of the coordinators came to us and asked my friend to fill out the chart before the consultation. Then we waited for a while there but I was not bored at all because I had some coffee that they served us for free! They do have a café in the hospital. How cool it is!
Then, we went upstairs for the consultation. There were several consultation rooms on the 16th floor and we went inside one of the rooms. After a while, a consultant came into the room and said hi to us with a nice smile ? Also, an English translator came with her because the consultant spoke Korean only. She told us that we would see the consultant first then the doctor. After my friend’s consultation, the consultant also recommended me a facial contouring injection for double chin and chubby cheeks. I had much fat under my chin and around cheek areas and I always hated it. My friend also convinced me to get the injection so I decided to get it done.
I went to the basement where all the treatment rooms are located at. I waited for a few minutes and one of the nurses called my name and I followed her to one of the treatment rooms. I was asked to sit on the chair and the doctor came into the room. My doctor was Dr. Young Tae Seo. Dr. Seo is a lifting surgery specialist but I heard all of the doctors at ID are good at contouring injection so I trusted him. It was my first time to get the cosmetic injection but it was not painful at all. I think it took less than 5 minutes. He injected it into my skin several times and it was over. Dr. Seo recommended me to get the injection at least 2 more times if I would like to see the effectiveness. So I made an appointment for the next 2 injections.
I had injections every week and when I came back to ID for the 2nd injection, I actually complained that I did not see any effectiveness. Dr. Seo told me that it would be taking about a month to see the effect of it and also it really depends on person; some people see the difference a few days after whereas it takes a month for someone.
Now, it’s been a month since I had the injections and I’m back in Sydney. And I believe the facial contouring injection really works for me! Please check out the attached after pictures above. I do see the difference between those two pictures! What do you guys think? I highly recommend this injection to those of you who are concerned about excessive fats on the face but afraid of undergoing major plastic surgeries ? I’m planning to have another session of the contouring injection on my next visit to Korea heehee~
