Forehead Endotine / Transconjuctival Under Eyebag Removal / External Osteotomy Rhino, 2-years Post Op Result

Two years post-op review. The hospital I went to was banobagi located in Seoul. I actually got several procedures done at a time and had two surgeons:
Dr.Lee Hyun-Taek: external osteotomy rhinoplasty, FH endotine, transconjuctival under eyebag removal, non-incision eye correction.
Dr.Oh Chang-Hyun: angular jaw reduction, zygoma reduction, genioplasty.
I used to have my natural double eyelids but because of skin sagging they weren’t defined enough. I was thinking about upper and lower blepharoplasty to make my eyes bigger, get rid of infinite tired and gloomy look and make my eyes more expressed but Dr.Lee suggested a forehead lift with non-incision eye correction and tranconjuctival under eyebag removal instead. For my forehead, Dr.Lee used the material to lift it up in order to have more defined eyes and also wider forehead as I wanted. Therefore, my eyelid muscle tension was improved, eye bags removed and as a result look refreshed and eyes began to shine again. The main advantage here is the absence of an external incision and relatively light post-op recovery.
As for my nose, I was always insecure of it due to its shape and always wanted a slight point on it. Dr.Lee turned my dream into reality. He made the tip a bit narrow, the bridge more refined and nose size and shape more proportional in respect to my face.
I think the most common facial feature of most Asians is too wide cheekbone and too large jaw line making the face look round. My initial objective was V-line as I thought it’d dramatically improve the situation, but after the consultation with Dr.Oh I realized that only V-line wouldn’t be enough to achieve the face shape I wanted. He suggested to cover all aspects and proceed angular jaw and zygoma reduction with genioplasty and it was the best option.
Recovery. The after-anesthesia time was quite easy, just a bit dizziness and thirst, no pain. I knew exactly where I was, what happened and could even calculate the time I spent in the operation room. I stayed in the hospital over night as had to be under control for a few hours. The feeling was unwonted, blocked nose with no sense of smell and face was tied with a bandage. The first week my face was swollen and I couldn’t actually see my nose as it was covered with a splint which I could remove only after 7 days when first stitches after rhinoplasty and forehead lifting were taken out. I could finally see my nose, it still was a swollen but noticeably improved. A week later seams after facial contouring were removed. The openness of my mouth by that time was only 1 finger but I was told to do special exercises, walk a lot and drink more water to make the metabolism faster.
Excessive swelling was gone after about 3 weeks and by the end of the second month I could freely open my mouth but it still was rather painful. By the end of the third month swelling was only in the morning and I could already smile and yawn. I was in continuous contact with banobagi to record my progress and the assistant kept telling me how amazingly fast my recovery was. Noticeable results were already obvious after 3 months and day by day they became better and better.
Outcome. Today, a year and a half later I can see the final result and it’s perfect. My look became younger and more open, eyes bigger and more proportional, nose elegant and neat and face slimmer and oval. Is plastic surgery a panacea or universal evil? – Only the ones who’s already been under the plastic surgeon’s knife can objectively judge about it. For me, experience with banobagi was crucial momentum in my life. It helped to acquire more self-confidence and self-esteem, it opened a totally different side of my personality which stayed in the shadow of restrain and self-doubt for a long time. With Dr Lee and Dr.Oh help I became a better version of myself and if someone asks if I’m ready to underwent everything all over again, I’d definitely say YES as it 100% worth it.
