Angular Jaw/zygomatic Bone/chin Surgery – Almost 3 Weeks Ago

Have never thought that plastic surgery might be something of my interest. After giving birth to 2 babies I started to lose weight and my face made me look like I had anorexia. People kept asking if I’m sick or something and that bothered me a lot. Back in my twenties, my face was “fuller” and mother used to say that I have a full-moon face. Although, my jaw and cheeks were wide, the “fullness” of my face made me look pretty enough. At age 34 when my self-esteem was under zero I finally decided to change something. After some research my husband and I chose Doc Jonglim Park and on (date) I had zygomatic bone reduction along with angular jaw surgery and genioplasty placed. The operation went quite well. I was very afraid of post risks and complications and the factor of being unsatisfied scared both me and my husband a lot. So, 3+ years of continuous thinking and worrying, 1+ week of before op over-exciting and today is already the third week of my recovery. I’m very unsure about the result as my right side swollen a bit more but Doc Park said that everything’d be fine. Being continuously in touch with Doc Park makes me feel calmer. Our last video chat he said that everything is healing properly and yet I still feel some pressure and pain.

Two months after the surgery! Most of swelling is already gone. We’ve noticed some improvements in terms of my facial lines. For the last month I lost some kgs and yet it didn’t affect my appearance. I think I even look a bit younger now :) Have no pain or pressure at this point and healing flows smooth enough. I may need some Botox injections in the future as I read a lot about skin sagging after shaving cheekbone, will come back to that in my next update when results would be pretty much finalized.

Still not 100% healed and yet quite satisfied with the result I have now. Once again, I got angular jaw reduction with cheekbone shaving and chin surgery. Swelling is pretty much gone and my results look much better. I contacted Doc Park last week regarding possible skin sagging and botox injections but he said that I’m supposed to experience none, hope he’s right.
