I have had fillers in my cheeks and have been very happy. Had secret RF and I have lumps and divets on my cheeks. It looks absolutely horrible. I had read that fillers can be dissolved with this process. It appears parts of fillers are dissolved. I am beside myself. Please if anyone can help. I have a wedding in two weeks.

It’s recommended that you wait at least 6 months after getting filler, especially Hyaluronic Acid fillers. The heat from the radio frequency could
“Melt” the fillers. The 6 month wait time gives the fillers time to integrate into your skin. This is what has most likely happened to you. You’ll need to speak with a professional to see what can be done to rectify this.
Some questions you always want to ask:
Did the person who provided the Tx’s have the required credentials?
How knowledgeable and how many of these procedures have they done?
What complications could happen with the procedure?
Can I see before & after pictures of your work?
Are there any medical contraindications? or medications that would cause problems? .
Did you inform them that you had fillers in your cheeks?
Over the years, I’ve learned as a nurse
that mis-communications / omissions / expectations between patients and medical professionals have been the most common denominator in unwanted outcomes. That’s why you need to read everything you sign, ask questions for clarification. The question of fillers should have been on their pre-procedural checklist. If it wasn’t, it definitely needs to be added for this very reason!! I wish you well
