It’s Turned into Shingles from the Treatment
Has anyone else had shingles flare up after treatment I’m on day 4 and i look like a blowfish and my skin on both cheeks are hot and humming in pain burning and itchy I’ve got a drs apt today I’ve already been taking valtrex because i have broken out in the past after having a couple moles removed. I’m just in so much pain and the procedure was so painful anyone else have this happen

I am wondering if you are allergic to the nubming cream. I have had that reaction and looked very much like you in your picture. I am not allergic to lidocaine but whatever they bind it together with give me the reaction you have. I had to take steroids to get rid of the reaction. Benadryl did not work for me. But, steroids solved it. I have used the EMLA numbing cream 2x and this is a very rare reaction - but this is what it does when I use it.
