WORTH IT
Great appointment today. Healing. After all of this - going to have a good result. OMG - a journey. Thank you Turkle and Associates for seeing it through.
The pics side by side today show I’ve responded to the compounded cream. I’ve been taking oral glutathione too - an antioxidant that lightens the skin. I’m dry from the retinoids acid, but that will get better. I guess my last update was the dark before the light.

I am so happy that you got good results after this rollercoaster of experience. Would you do this again?

Not with this particular machine. No way.

How does your skin look now?

Results look great! I really want to try this but I am worried about facial fat loss from what I heard can happen from laser devices. Did u experience this by any chance?

I do have a little volume loss around the periodontal area. My biggest issue is still with hyperpigmentation and texture. Turkle’s office gave me a cream - had me coming in weekly for pictures. Never saw the doctor after first assessment. My skin is looking OK -
But it’s because I went to a different spa and got a peel and an IPL facial to reduce redness. I also paid to have Turkle’s office perform a PRP microneedling.

I am going back to them one last time for a PICO to reduce pigmentation.

I believe way too much heat was used for my skin during the procedure and I have been in damage control mode since.

There has been definite collagen lift on my neck, brow and lip area. But for all I’ve endured, not worth it.

Also disappointing, I tried to post on this site to ask a question of the other docs who sometimes respond. The site refused to let me post because Turkle consults/participates on this site.

I don’t see why that should mean other colleagues can’t comment.

So I finally broke down and cried tonight. I am panicked, frustrated, confused, worried about my face.

It is healing, but it looks like crap. I have tons of hyperpigmentation. My pore size larger. My skin gets itchy and crepe like. I have lines and texture issues.
I went in looking pretty good. Now I’m facing months of healing.
Turkle’s office won’t admit any wrong doing. They remind me that I signed a release form. My main source of frustration is that my complications are so far from normal. I’m stuck with this long healing period. If I wasn’t burned, I shouldn’t need six weeks on top of the three I’ve had to heal.

An allergic reaction to some cream would have resolved on 48 hours. Terrible.
