I have done a LOT of superficial peels in the past...
WORTH IT
I have done a LOT of superficial peels in the past to help with active acne and hyper-pigmentation. This peel was different b/c it was essentially pain free and the dramatic reduction in hyper-pigmented areas. The only thing to consider with this peel is timing the "molting" phase. Here's how mine went:
Tuesday evening (6pm): Peel application, which burned moderately for 2 minutes and was relieved with a fan.
Wednesday: Red face and a couple people asked me if I just came back from vacation/somewhere sunny.
Thursday(4pm): Started peeling around the mouth. Was at work this day, but people were looking at me a bit funny.
Friday: Significant peeling. This was the worse day of the peeling. Nothing painful, but it would be difficult to be in public this day.
Saturday: Had a shelf of skin on my forehead :)
Sunday: Beautiful skin!
In summary - I would have preferred not to have been working starting 48 hours after the peel, but the results were worth it all!

How many peels did you have before you noticed improvement with your acne scars? Also, would you say your pores were minimized? More importantly, how long do the results last?

Do you find the peels treat the actual acne as well as the scars? That hasn't been my experience, but I was wondering about others?
