I have done a LOT of superficial peels in the past...
I have done a LOT of superficial peels in the past to help with active acne and hyper-pigmentation. This peel was different b/c it was essentially pain free and the dramatic reduction in hyper-pigmented areas. The only thing to consider with this peel is timing the "molting" phase. Here's how mine went:
Tuesday evening (6pm): Peel application, which burned moderately for 2 minutes and was relieved with a fan.
Wednesday: Red face and a couple people asked me if I just came back from vacation/somewhere sunny.
Thursday(4pm): Started peeling around the mouth. Was at work this day, but people were looking at me a bit funny.
Friday: Significant peeling. This was the worse day of the peeling. Nothing painful, but it would be difficult to be in public this day.
Saturday: Had a shelf of skin on my forehead :)
Sunday: Beautiful skin!
In summary - I would have preferred not to have been working starting 48 hours after the peel, but the results were worth it all!

Dr. Larrabee and his staff are warm and welcoming. Lauren Gross cannot be praised more for how she saw my skin, listened to my concerns and combined an IPL with the ViPeel a week later to bring my muddy looking face to bright and fresh. She is calming and reassuring during uncomfortable parts of the procedures and ALWAYS available to discuss questions/concerns after. I would highly recommend paying a visit to Dr. Larrabee and Lauren for that person touch. They made me feel like family as we decided the best way to deal with my acne scars and hyper-pigmentation.
