I couldn't be happier with the results. My only regret is that I didn't know labiaplasty was a thing until my thirties.
My inner labia protruded quite far and caused me a lot of discomfort. I had to wear thongs that were cut narrow in the crotch because having material stretched tightly there would cause irritation. Wearing tight pants was uncomfortable because the labia would get caught on one side of the seam. I received a comment from a boyfriend (who quickly became an EX-boyfriend) that I had the biggest labia he'd ever seen.
The surgery was easy and while recovery was painful the first few days I was back at work and experiencing only some discomfort within a week. After a month I was feeling fine, and after about three months recovery was complete and I was pleased with the results. My doctor used the wedge method, so the lips look and feel natural.
I learned of labiaplasty in my early thirties from articles claiming it was something that women were doing because of vanity and [RS bleep] stars. Don't listen to that rubbish; it's just people presenting their opinions as facts.
