Hello! I'm just another lady seeking a new beginning with a (much) more manageable chest.

This was actually my second attempt at getting a breast reduction. I was approved a year ago, but due to circumstances beyond my control -- my husband changed jobs quickly and the insurance changed -- I was unable to proceed all the way the first time. So this was actually my second attempt at getting a breast reduction.

I am now on the right side of a reduction that was just done on 10/03/2017. So far, so good! This is mostly to log some of the effects of the surgery as well as document some of the progress. Thanks for coming along for the ride!

At least I'm down from 4 Advil a day on Day 1 after the procedure to 1 Advil a day on Day 4 ... so I have that going for me, which is nice.

Advil? not Tylenol? I thought Advil as any aspirin drug I a no-no for at least a week?
I have a back pain from sleeping position. Not sure to take anything, or suffer through.... :(
4 days post op today as well.

It's so weird, because some doctors want you to use Tylenol and some want you to use Advil. My doc prefers Advil. Either way, I didn't really need the prescription painkillers and I'm having good results with Advil so far.

Thanks so much for sharing this, I’ve never used narcotics and go for mine on Thursday. I’m glad to hear you are doing ok on Advil!

It's so important to have trust in your doctor.

'Cause if I didn't believe in the doc, I'd swear he beat the crap out of my torso while I was sleeping.

Day 5 post-op is nearly here. It's pretty clear that my nipples weren't severed because they are making themselves known via pinprick sensations and swelling. Sigh.

Here's a tip: frozen bags of veggies on the girls help the swelling!

I did go shopping for clothes today and left with ... a pair of pants. Womp womp. I want to buy a halter top but I still can't quite wrap my head around my new smaller tittied existence.
