I am so excited to get my BL & BA! I was always thin until my early 20's when I gained about 60 pounds. I lost the weight in my late 20's but my breasts never bounced back. They are saggy, floppy and VERY asymmetrical. I was nervous even thinking about major surgery for a cosmetic issue, but my husband convinced me to go in for a consult. BTW, my husband has never made me feel less than beautiful, he just knew how much I hated how I looked. I had my consult with Dr. Sajan in Seattle, and I didn't feel the need to look elsewhere. He was informative, patient with questions and took the time to make sure I was comfortable with everything discussed. The reviews on him were phenomenal. We have decided on silicone, under the muscle, high profile. 400cc on my right breast (the bigger one) and 450cc on my left one. The doctor believes this will even then out nicely. I had my pre-op on August 9th and go in for surgery on the 31st! Any tips, suggestions and support will be greatly appreciated!

I think you made a great choice! My left is 375cc and right 400cc saline moderate plus under the muscle. I never had and issue with the saline with first augment making them "hard", they actually felt just like the real deal so I stayed with saline. But it's just a matter of presence. Take good care of yourself by eating lots of protein, veggies and I personally drank tons of orange/carrot organic juice. I drank tons of water with lemon and cucumber to stay hydrated as well. You're going to be so happy! I wish you the best!

Thank you so much! My PS recommended silicone to me, saying that saline may ripple with time due to my body type/frame. I've heard great things about both, so I just went with his suggestion. Thanks for the tips on eating and drinking, I've been a little nervous about it especially with not being able to exercise for awhile. I'll have to get some organic carrot juice, you're the 2nd person I've heard say that. I'm getting really excited! Hopefully all goes well and I'm happy with the end result! Thanks again!

I wasn't saying saline is better - so I hope you didn't take it that way , sorry if it came across as such. When I had my first augment, I was only allowed to have saline... because in 2009 they were just ending the ban on silicone implants. I had the choice to get them this time and the gel as well but I stayed with the saline simply because they felt so natural. A lot of woman experience them feeling hard like rocks, thankfully I didn't. I never had any real rippling that was noticeable. Just a tiny bit on the left inner crease when I bend over. Everyone I know who has silicone loves them and I'm sure you will too. Try not to stress yourself out too much before the surgery. I know the feeling , believe me. But any unnecessary stress isn't the best thing for your body. Though I know it's easier said than done. Im so excited for you! I'll be thinking of you! Let me know how goes when your feeling up to it. Rest and relation is key to healing.

It cut off the ending of my last comment, weird. I've heard great things about both saline and silicone, and I'm so glad you are happy, that's all that matters! Thank you so much for your support and I'll definitely post an update after surgery. Only 16 days! BTW, your boobs on your pic look amazing!!

Good luck, so exciting!! I am one week post op with uplift & implants. Already I can see great results, have an appointment today to hopefully get dressings off. I will warn you, I found day from day 2 more painful than I expected, but manageable with drugs, my husband has been great from the start supporting my decision as I too was unhappy with how I looked. I had a 375cc in on the left and 350cc in on the right. Still very hard and tender when you move about too much but early days....I'm so glad I've had it done and like you I was nervous but very excited. Good luck and remember to take it easy x

Thank you! I'm reading that day 2 is the worst for a lot people. My husband will be taking a few days off to help me out. I'm so glad you're enjoying your results! Happy healing!

Wow! You look great!!!! Congratulations on the weight loss. I am trying to lose 40lbs. I am currently 170 looking to get down to 130. Any advice or methods that work and help you to stay on track? I would appreciate it. Also was wondering how the silicone breast implants feel. Do they feel like breasts? I previously had saline and I eventually could actually feel the implants and ended up removing them altogether. It's been two years and I am thinking after my weight loss to reimplant with silicone 350-375cc's. Do you have any updated pictures? Thanks!

Hi! Thank you for the compliment! I lost the weight by changing my eating and drinking habits. I quit drinking alcohol completely and cut out a lot of processed foods. I cut sugar and carbs way back. I allowed myself 1 cheat day a week where I could eat anything I wanted. That really helped me stay on track because I didn't feel so deprived. I'm currently only on day 18 post op, so I can't give you a good review yet on the "feel" of my breasts. They are a little hard still and quite high, which will change as the weeks go by. I've heard silicone has a much more natural look and feel, which is the reason why I chose them. I'll update my post with some more pics soon! Thanks again!

1 Week to go!

Today marks 1 week until my BL & BA! I'm not so much excited but nervous. I just want it done and over with! This waiting is making me crazy. I feel like I have so much to prepare and plan ahead for when I'm recovering. I work from home (with a lot of down time) while my husband works 8-10 hours a day so I do most of the housework, shopping etc. I'm trying to make it as easy as possible for him, I just wish I knew how long I'll be down. I've read some people are up and about on day 2 or 3 and others need a full 2 or even 3 week recovery time!
As for the surgery and recovery, I've picked up all my meds, got some anti bruising tablets, and going to pick out a backrest/sleep supporter this weekend. I hope this week goes by quickly!

I had similar issues ..I HD a lift on my right side with a 310 cc naturelle anatomical and a 440cc on my left..I was down for the count for 3 days...day 2 was the worst...no lifting get for a long time....I was cleared to run after 6 weeks....as long as the incisions look good....just don't plan on lifting anything..even if you feel that you can for a couple weeks...

Surgery was Yesterday!

I had my surgery yesterday with Dr. Sajan. I can't believe how good they look already. When the implants drop and healing begins, they will be exactly how I wanted them. I had some MAJOR asymmetry before, and it's barely noticeable now. I'm so excited to see the final result in a few months! Dr. Sajan and his team were amazing. They were patient with my questions, and took their time to make sure I was comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Sajan at Allure Esthetics in Seattle!
I am in quite a bit of pain, but it's only day 2, so that's to be expected. My sweet husband has been taking care of me, but he goes back to work tomorrow, so I'll be on my own!
