WORTH IT$8,000
I saw Dr. Shahram Salemy in Seattle after researching reviews and having a consultation. I immediately felt like he was the right dr for me. Attentive, caring, wasn't pushy and it didn't hurt that he was nice to look at;) I had 750cc saline implants that I got 18 years ago. They were still in good shape but I wanted to go smaller and maybe a bit lifted. My first visit Dr. Salemy deflated my old implants. I waited 2 weeks to let my skin naturally heal and contract then went in for surgery. He went with a 520 and a 600 silicone natrelle inspira. He said we should do just an implant change first and if I wanted to do a seri mesh at a later date that would be an option. He thought I didn't really need a lift and it would almost double the price of the surgery. I'm glad I took his advice. I am now a big C, small D which is exactly what I asked for. I just had my 6 week check up and he was very happy with the end result. He is a great surgeon and I would highly recommend him to anyone thinking of plastic surgery. The girls in his office as well as the nurses are awesome!

Hi Beth, The two weeks with the deflated implants were ok. Definitely a strange feeling to go from a 34DD to flat and saggy but the two weeks went by quick and it did help my own skin heal up and contract a bit. I don't have a preference between saline and silicone although the silicone is a softer feel. Dr. Salemy did a great job explaining how the two weeks deflated may be a lot harder for some people then others but eye on the prize. You also cannot deflate implants if they are silicone. Hope this helps:)
So glad your revision went well! I have read about other women recently downsizing a bit too. How were the two weeks when your implants were deflated? Were you uncomfortable at all? Do you prefer the silicone over the saline? Thank you for sharing your helpful story with us on RealSelf!
