Top- after 4 weeks
Bottom- Before
I always wanted to close my gap but could not afford braces growing up. I learned to live and love with my gap but became a professional “lip smiler.” I had received a quote for over $5000 for Invisalign! I am a single mom and can not afford it or to take the time off for adjustments etc... I did about as much research as a person can do and also consulted my friends husband who is a practicing dentist. He advised me that Invisalign actually owns 20% interest in SDC so with all of that I went ahead! I made my appt with a smile clinic had 3D imaging done, got my free whitening kit!!! they answered all of my questions and I could see they were an ethical company because my friend had questions ( and was in need of some major crown work, cleanings and the like) they advised her to get all of those issues cleared up before considering the aligners. Communication has been superior! I was slated to get my items 6 weeks later but they arrived around 2.5 weeks later! And a side note I sent a DM telling them how much I loved the lip balm and they straight up sent me another one FREE!!!! Anywho everything sent and my experience was as promised. Here are photos of me on tray 3 of 15 of a 7 month process! ( also my trays did not need filing are not cutting my gums and are so clear I have to tell people I have them!) tips: brush and floss after eating, rinse trays and brush them each time ( I have a thing about germs so I brush the trays every time!!!) other than pressure that subsides for me after 3 days as far as any real pain o cannot in good consience say there is any! And yes I have lost weight! ???? so I will try to update at least every 4 weeks maybe sooner if there are dramatic results! One more note to my gapped tooth community this depends highly on each individuals mouth but I personally will need to have frenum surgery for permanent closure of my top gap since I do not want anything cemented to my teeth.

Payment info

So I wanted to update regarding payment so I did the payment plan of $80 per month for 24 months and I paid for the $250 upfront with my HSA card. I also contacted my insurance and for my personal account I will get reimbursed ( check sent to me) once I get to the dollar amount available!! So it’s worth it to contact your insurance but even better if you can pay with FSA or HSA.
