Careless Surgeon - Stay Away

3.5 years after primary rhinoplasty with Dr. Portuese - He ruined my face

My experience from having rhinoplasty with Dr. Portuese has been absolutely horrible and incredibly humiliating. One side of my nose has collapsed and I've lose the ability to breathe through my nose by about 60-75%. The problematic nostril has a flattened/collapsed appearance which has caused so many issues for me -- breathing, sleeping, not to mention the humiliation and self-consciousness I feel regularly. I decided to go with Dr. P because it appeared that he had good reviews and he was a few thousand dollars less than Dr. Naficy in Bellevue. Oh man, do I regret not seeing Dr. Naficy 3 and a half years ago. I've decided to have Dr. Naficy perform a revision to fix the hideous nose that Dr. P gave me. After my revision, I'll have spend almost $25,000. DO NOT LET DR. PORTUESE TOUCH YOUR FACE. You will regret it.

Did he ever offer to fix it or make it right? Did he offer a complimentary revision or anything? I'm having the same issues going to be seeing him soon I hope he will come up with the solution although I'm doubtful because of how he's responded about my concerns in the past (no care at all dismissed) 1 yr and half post op have dent in nose and breathing issues.. I hope it can be fixed so sad to even have to be dealing with this after all that money and waiting full year of recovery and still the problems have not gone away but gotten worse.
did Dr. Naficy correct your nose to how you wanted and happy with it? I have consults with him, shvidler, and salemy and curious how they all preform!
