Do not go to the Gateway aesthetics ! Dr. Mark Taylor is not a plastic surgeon. Don’t let the fancy business he owes fool you ! I have read Dr. Taylor performed BASIC upper eyelid surgery and left a man without the ability to close one of his eyes ! I got sculptra from him and he didn’t even look at my face before the procedure . I’m almost 6 months in and my lower eyes have bags and my eye shape is different from one eye to the next . I can SEE the product under my skin ! My under eyes have fluid under them and they are grey ! And numb ! I hate what he did to me ! He refuses to take any responsibility! This could last for literally 10-15 years ! I’m 55 and look worse than I’ve ever looked . He says I look better which is nothing but gaslighting ! His staff says the Dr. said you’re fine he doesn’t need to see you . Yes he does this stuff is growing and I’m terrified this will only get worse ! I hate waking up and looking in the mirror. I had a bad feelings about this and I told him I did and he reassured me it’s safe and that I’d be fine ! Well it’s been almost 6 months and I’ve been in and out of the ER because I'm terrified! I can’t feel my face from ear to ear ! Had to get an MRI. Couldn’t close one eye right after . He gave me zero after care instructions! You’re suppose to massage it 5 x a day for 5 days .I asked if I should massage , he said no . Now I have clumped up sculptra by my under eye ! He says he doesn’t need to see me why ?!?!? This stuff doesn’t show results for sometimes many months even years down the road ! I hate this ! I wake up everyday with anxiety. I do not want to go out . I feel like my older years are going to be dealing with a disfigured FACE !! No matter what do not go to the Gateway aesthetics in Utah and did not go see Dr Taylor . He’s careless he doesn’t look at your face. He doesn’t make a very good assessment of what needs to be done . Then he doesn’t admit he’s at fault ! 1 star ! Don’t go to him ! He doesn’t take time to assess! And then he dismisses you like you’re the wrong one ! Angry , upset , depressed and filled with anxiety! Something I didn’t need !

any updates? how are you doing? I am one year out and I am still struggling with puffy, swollen, huge face. it changed my entire face structure and I see no signs of it going down. I feel myself sinking into depression and see no signs of hope.

That said, let me offer some perspective. This is an opportunity to move past your physical self and into a more philosophical and spiritual state. I know, i really KNOW the pain you’re experiencing. and i still have really bad days. but i forget when im in my garden or hiking a forest path or just hanging out with the dogs. please. do not let this shipwreck your life.
don’t rub it! dont do gua sha or lymph drain it makes it worse. avoid inflamatory diet. you may find some days are better than others.
