3 treatments, noticed some increase in dermal thickness and firmness in the areas treated

I had a combined sculptra PRP microneedling treatment to my neck quite a while back. I was told that the chance of nodules forming from the use of the sculptra was extremely minimal. Unfortunately, after doing my second treatment I developed a few nodules. The doctor did try on two separate occasions to inject the nodules with 5fu and something else to get them to reduce in size. These treatments did not work and sadly 1.5 years later I still have two prominent nodules in my neck. Hopefully these will go away in time. I would suggest being careful using sculptra in the neck area even if diluted with PRP.

It is not common to find a plastic surgeon who also becomes an expert in non surgical cosmetic rejuvenation. His office also has acquired different technologies to treat different issues so that Dr. Chestnut is able to personally tailor treatment to the individual. Other offices may only offer a limited number of technologies limiting what your choices are which may not deliver the best outcome.
I went in to see Dr. Chestnut due to facial skin laxity and some jowl issues. I decided upon a non surgical approach using Sculptra. Dr. Chestnut utilizes a pan facial technique, which is different than what I had experienced with this product in the past. I have had 3 treatments over the course of several months. I have definitely noticed some increase in dermal thickness and firmness in the areas treated. Sculptra does take a long time to complete its process so patience is needed if you decide to go down this road.
