I Am So Glad I Did This!

Four years after my lap band surgery and I was still dissatisfied with how I looked. My weight was down 35 pounds and that was great but I now had a roll around my belly that was very unflattering. My clothes would not disguise this and I decided it was time to do something about it. After searching the internet for plastic surgeons, I selected Dr. Richard Brown and made an appointment for an evaluation. My first contact was with Laurie and she was very reassuring and helpful in setting up the appointment in the Sun City location. With some trepidation, my husband and I kept the appointment and met with Missy and Dr. Brown. We were immediately impressed with their professionalism and background with tummy tuck surgeries. Dr. Brown was confident and carefully explained the procedure, answering all of our questions fully. After some thoughtful discussions between us, I decided that I wanted the surgery and Octavia helped me get scheduled very quickly. The surgical center was very efficient in getting me set up and ready for the procedure. Five hours later I was on my way home and ready to complete my recovery, carefully following the post-operation instructions. It is now 6 weeks since the surgery and Dr. Brown has given me the “all clear” for activities, of course, listening to my body and appropriately reacting. Both of us are extremely pleased with the results: flat tummy, tight muscles, and a scar that is healing up very nicely. My friends have all commented that my step is lighter and more confident as well as my clothes fitting like they should. I could not be happier with the outcome and would heartily recommend Dr. Brown and his staff to anyone who wants to improve their appearance with a tummy tuck.
