I am 38 years old and feel as if I have dealt
with cellulite since my teens even though I have always led a healthy lifestyle and regularly workout (4-5 times a week). I was beyond myself when I heard about a procedure that treats cellulite that actually works. I have spent countless hours and ridiculous amounts of money trying to treat cellulite throughout the years... Everything from scrubs, creams, derma-rollers, pills, Vela Shape... Nothing ever worked !! I had my Cellfina treatment Friday April 22nd at Scottsdale Plastic Surgeons. I was a bit apprehensive about the procedure but after doing a lot of research and seeing several results from personal friends I decided this was the best choice for me. Dr. Paul Holden, Dr. Ryan Tsujimura, and their staff are extremely amazing, answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease about the procedure. The entire process (pictures, marking, numbing and procedure) took less than two hours. It was over before I knew it... The doctors and staff created a relaxing atmosphere and talked me through the whole process always making sure I was comfortable. It was all done under local anesthetic and I was able to drive myself home after the procedure. The procedure itself was relatively painless. My treated areas were covered with dressings and I was given a compression garment to wear for the next couple of weeks. It has only been 2 days and I can already see a difference. I barely have any bruising or swelling and I have not experienced the "leakage" many people have posted about. I will post pictures soon; I want to obtain my before pictures from them before posting so that I can show other people considering this treatment the true progress of my procedure. I am more than happy to answer any questions anyone may have.

How many dimples did you do? Was it done just on bum or thighs too? Have you worked out yet? Will you wear the undergarment for the whole two weeks? I am full of questions. :) It is nice to hear this from patients rather than just doctors. Thanks!

Trust me I was full of questions myself as well... I was treated on both... Bum and thighs. My procedure was just done 3 days ago so I have not been able to work out. I feel great and I asked my doctor today if I could but he advices against it because it may cause swelling which is something you want to avoid. I'm not a fan of wearing my garment either but I am to avoid swelling. I'm hoping I don't have to wear it the full two weeks but I also don't want to do anything to impede with my results.

Thank you for the reply. I have heard you can workout afterwards but did no believe it...I am thinking at least a couple of weeks. Thanks again - your review was helpful.

I'm pretty sure I will get the clear to workout pretty soon... I uploaded a picture that was taken 24 hours after my procedure. I'm not sure how long Real Self takes to post pictures but feel free to check back. Honestly the worst part was the anticipation before my procedure and the boring 2 days that followed the procedure ... One word.. Netflix !!

You look amazing and such a huge difference. For the remainder of the cellulite, you may want to inquire about Sculptra for cellulite. It will smooth out those dimples even more with long lasting effects. If you google sculptra for cellulite you can see that doctors are having great success and its invasive. You do look great however the way you are, just giving extra advise and knowledge. Take care!

Did you just have dimples or did you have waves/lines too? I have waves and I've heard cellfina might not treat those

I'm curious if you're still pleased with your results now that it's been over a year since your procedure? I'm in the Phoenix area so I'm particularly interested in the doctor who treated you. I may call him for a consultation. Thanks!

Hi, I am considering doing a liposuction treatment for my cellulite. Have you considered that? Would you say this treatment helped entirely with the issue?

Here is a picture taken 24 hours after my procedure right after bandages came off; the markings (places I was treated) are still very visible; barely any bruising or swelling. I will continue to post pictures as I progress.

Yes, I will post now. Posting day of (4/22/15) and 48 hours after (4/25/16). I will continue to also post pics of my progress as some dimples may take a few weeks to resolve.

Here are my before pics taken the day of my procedure (4/22/2016) and pics taken 48 hours after my procedure (4/25/2016) - Both sets taken at my doctors office. I will continue to post pics as I progress, as I was told most dimples take a few weeks to resolve due to the bruising and swelling.
