I have been considering a tummy tuck for at least five years, but could not make peace with the scar. Finances were an issue in that it was hard to justify a medical procedure that was unnecessary. Any hoo, As I get older I notice my stomach just gets uglier and that's where my fat likes to hangout. I want to evict it once and for all! LOL

Thank you. I wish you well too on your surgery. I looked at the date, you will be having yours on Tuesday. May I ask which PS on whom you decided? You look young and very pretty. Keep us posted. Everyone has such a varied recovery. My PS is planning to do lipo on what I call my "bra fat" in addition to flanks. Ugh, I hope I can cope with the lipo pain. I hear that is sometimes worse than the TT. Take Care!

Good for you! You are going to look great since you look pretty tiny already! It's important to love your PS! It's funny how once you meet the PS you just know. Keep us posted and I can't wait to see your results!

I'm about 2.5 months away from my surgery. It seems like I have plenty of time to reflect on this and that. I am seeing a little hypersensitivity creeping in as I question why I am doing this. I can encourage others going through their Tummy Tuck, but start to wilt when I think about why I am doing this. I have only told one girlfriend about my decision. She had one about nine years ago and is very supportive. I know that no matter how much exercise I do, and I work out a lot ( a minimum of 3-4 times and more if my schedule allows) and I am aware of what I put in my mouth, I'll never get back my pre-pregnancy figure. Age is working against me too. I am hoping my results will finally match how much I exercise and my food choices. I am stuck at 125 lbs. I was 127 lbs when I was nine months pregnant! I was slender when I conceived. Thanks for letting me ramble, I feel better. LOL

You will do great! I had mine just over a year ago and my scar is very light. I too went in with a list of questions for my BCPS. His knowledge, skill and caring personality reassured me that I was making the right decision. Waiting for your day to get here is the worst part as I scheduled mine out months in advance too. Can't wait to see your results!

You are so right the waiting is tougher than I thought. It actually works against me, in that I have time to doubt what I am doing! :-) I feel confident with Dr. Repta, here in Scottsdale. I will check out your profile and see if you have posted any pics. Thanks!
