Feeling much better! Almost all of the bruising is gone. I still have a little on my left flank but otherwise it's all gone. I am still swollen. The backs of my arms are especially swollen as well as my lower back where I had my drain. My back and the backs of my arms are still tender to the touch but all these things are minor. Dr. Repta said I will continue to get smaller and the swelling will continue to subside. In pants I'm wearing a 6/8 or a size medium. In tops I'm wearing a medium or large (I'm a wear a 38DDD bra, so it's not likely I will get in to a size small top.) I am very happy with my results so far!

Hi! I am just curious about your initial recovery. I am having full body lipo and my surgeon keeps stressing how much pain I will be in afterwards. I do pretty well with pain in general, but he has me a little worried. What was your experience like during the first week? -Thanks

The first 3 days were really rough! I had a lot of fluid seeping out of my puncture wounds and I had a hard time getting ahead of the pain. I had a lot of swelling in my legs and feet for about 10 days. I got up every hour and moved around which helped with the pain and swelling. By day 4 I was feeling a lot better. Take your pain meds like clockwork and stay on top of the pain. I made the mistake of not bringing my pain meds with me which I should have so I could have taken some before heading home to get ahead of the pain once the anesthesia completely wore off. Good luck with your procedure!

What diference do you see in your inner thighs? That is my biggest problem area, and everywhere I read, it says that that specific area is the hardest to actually improve appearance.

I see a big difference. Before I could grab at least a handful of inner thigh and you could see the fat bulges through my pants. Now, 6 weeks out, I have just a little bit that is still there. My legs were also probably the most swollen part. I walked like a cowboy for days they were sooooo swollen. Overall I see a huge change in my thighs!

Day 9.....

My thighs, calves, and hips are still incredibly swollen! I feel like I'm walking like a cowboy at times and at the end of the day my feet are huge. I am however seeing major progress on my abdomen, flanks, and back fat! I had my drain removed today, so I have some tenderness and swelling across my lower back, but the change is tremendous! My arms are incredibly bruised and very tender, the most tender parts of all, but I am noticing a difference in circumference which is very exciting!! I finally showered for the first time since surgery day and it was glorious! I would definitely recommend ordering a second or third set of compression garments. I ordered another set today in a smaller size so I always have a clean set. I purchased mine through the Marena Group at https://marenagroup.com. I'm not thrilled about wearing a full girdle to my ankle and a full vest in the summer in Arizona, but I know the end results will be well worth it!

How are you doing now? Especially would love to know about the legs as it seems hard to find reviews about that! Hope all is well, looking fab so far x

Thank you! My thighs previously had large bulges at my upper thighs that were visible through my pants. Those are gone. I don't feel thick fat on my thighs but rather I can feel my muscle when I touch my inner thighs. I am 5 weeks out and all my bruising is gone. I still have some residual swelling in my arms, thighs, and back, but I see such a huge difference!! I will post pictures later today.

Still really swollen. I had to put compression socks on because my ankles and feet were terribly swollen but the swelling has gone down. I'm down to only 3 pain relievers all day and mostly just sore where my drain is. My drain output is significantly less today too. I'm starting to see a lot of bruising on my feet but no more leaking from my puncture wounds.
