I had a tummy tuck with him last November, 2014. He is really a talented and professional surgeon. His staff is great too. What made you decide on a bra line back lift? From your photos you are thin in the upper torso.
I hit post too early. Lol. Can't wait to see your results, I'm sure you'll be so pleased.
It was his recommendation for the bra line back lift
I had lost some weight about 4o lbs and have loose skin
He thought by incorporating the mastopexy bra line and transfers I would get a better result ! So glad you reached out to me.
I liked hm immediately
I work in the medical field and he is well respected
I found him too on RS and after consulting with two other BCPS in Scottsdale. That's great to hear that he is well respected in the field.
I saw him just last week because I have some keloid scaring on the TT incision and he is going to clean that up for me. He told me he wanted me to be happy with my surgery and I so appreciated him understanding. There is no extra expense other than the anesthesia fee.
Look forward to seeing your photos. Take care! :-)
I am very anxious I have been all over this site
I too had other consults
But there was something about Dr Repta ..... You know what I mean. I will post as soon as I can
Take care my friend
This site is very informative but can also scare you if you are not careful. Just remember everyone heals differently and follow his instructions to a Tee, and you will do well and if there are any minor complications he knows how to resolve them. That's key, because all PS have complications at one time or another and what we, the patients, want to know is how quickly they are on top of that to resolve and clear up any issue. You will do fine. I didn't even take one narcotic that he prescribed. That's how gentle he is with surgery. I had a tummy tuck and that is considered the most invasive of all plastic surgeries. He also uses some deep tissue numbing medication during the surgery called Exparel. It's wonderful and lasts up to 3-4 days. I think that is how I was able to thwart off the nasty pain meds and just take a couple of Tylenol every so often. I did amazingly well compared to other gals that had their surgery the same day as mine. I think five of us had it on the same day. We were keeping in touch and texting right up until we had our surgeries. The camaraderie was helpful for sure.
He is a sweetheart and although he is young, he is confident and not in an arrogant way, at least I never have had that impression. I never felt like he was running a mill of a practice, if that makes any sense.
I am going to have him replace my existing implants in the future or not, either late this year or early next year. He said I could do a fat transfer to my breasts, or implants, or I could choose to not have anything replaced.
You have nothing to worry about, you are in good hands. As long as your blood work and any other tests he orders come back fine, you will do great! Relax if you can and be excited and not too nervous. I know that's easy for me to say! LOL
Hugs and Blessings!
I thank you for sharing that, it is very reassuring . Brooke said since I am under 50 and in good health, no major issues- I shouldn't need blood work- but I am OK if its ordered. I am totally excited. I had implants back in 1984, and I was smaller chested ( a-ish) and wanted to be proportioned - well when I came out of surg. I was a DD quite a bit bigger then expected. Plastic surgery mentality if you will, was a bit more holier then thou back then. I had nothing but issues, a lot of capsular contracture. So swapped out twice in the next 10 years and finally opted for explantation and a mastopexy.- I was vulnerable and didn't do my homework and the lift was a bad one.
I thought by "trying " implants once again ( and remarried , lol ) I would "fix" the lack of upper pole and be able to wear a pretty shirt or feel sexy in a bathing suit- well, I didn't I bottomed out in the first 2 weeks. I give up I said!! Then after 3 yrs or so I started to research the fat transfers. I love the idea of being natural. CLEARLY I am unable to have implants. lol
I have a lot of stretched out skin under my arm, and around to my back- and once he lipos the flanks and lower back for the fat it will be very saggy- so we will do the bra lift.
I hope to have an nice aesthetic look, I am very hopeful and he is too.
It is so nice to have you to talk to, I am going through this alone- my husband is there but, its nice to have woman to talk too :)

Back at you with the hugs!!
This is the longest 12 days EVER....waiting for surgery is like watching water boil. EEEK..
Ahh! Same proceedures I had 2 months ago! You're going to love your results. Keep us posted!
Where did you go? I wanted to see how your surgery went.

Appointment Booked!

So the surgery is booked! July 22. I am not too nervous, okay maybe a little- something would clearly be wrong if I wasn't a titch right? . I have been to this rodeo before- the back line bra lift has such a nice result I am hopeful to have a beautiful aesthetic outcome, with what I have to work with. I have to be realistic.

Sounds fascinating! Doctors here refuse to do fat transfers to the breasts. They only do implants. I would prefer to do what you are doing, as I do not like the soccer ball effect of implants. Good luck!
What is a back line bra lift ?
it is when you have loose skin on your back- all the exercise in the world will not tighten-
the PS will cut all the way across the back ( its a pretty fine line that is hidden by the bra ) and lifts the bottom and pulls down the top. He will also aggressively lipo the lower back and flanks the result is a smooth thigh back side no bra rolls, back rolls. Hope that helps :)
Ok, so pre op is tomorrow! wow I am nervous. I have a page of notes and questions, in part to my RealSelf obsession. LOL
I look forward to tomorrow and in two weeks I will be new me!!
What, exactly, is a back line bra lift? I've never heard of that one. I hope you get exactly what you hoped for!

I found Dr. Repta here on RealSelf, and that is...

I found Dr. Repta here on RealSelf, and that is where my research began. After many consults with very talented surgeons, I have definitely decided to choose him. I had the pleasure of meeting with him last week and I look for ward to booking with him in the next few weeks. I am very impressed with his work, his professionalism, he really listened and understood my goals. I will gladly post more about the process as we go along.
We decided to to a back line bra lift, breast lift and fat transfers. I am beyond excited.
