Day 1-7 Stats- 5'5- 130lbs-350cc anatomical under the muscle- JOINT PAIN (in case others experienced this)

I was nervous about having surgery. I definitely questioned myself a lot. After meeting Dr. Cohen, I knew I chose the right Doctor. However, I wasn't certain if I was making the right choice.
My pre-op consult was fantastic. Dr. Cohen answered all of my questions, he was very thorough. I did try on sizers. I was already leaning towards 350cc prior to going in. I did try on the 400cc. I couldn't really tell the difference. I think the 400 had a slightly wider base. Anyways, I did leave the end choice to him. I even considered going 300(didn't try on the sizer) but I was afraid the 350 might be big... I am really glad we didn't do the 300. I know I would have regretted it. My goal was to have a natural look. I wanted the best of both worlds... to enhance my look with a push-up bra, or play them down for normal life. I knew if I went to big, I couldn't hide them if I wanted to. I was targeting a specific look so that I could play them up or down, depending on the look I was trying to achieve. I am happy with the 350cc, I think I could have went 400cc and still been happy. It's so hard to know when you can't see the finished product.
I am not sure how much my size will change. If they get smaller I will have wished I chose the 400. I read so many times about the 50cc bump up- but I leaned to my conservative side when standing in the consult room. I was scared of being too big.
Surgery day is a blur- I slept most of the day. I don't remember anything about after surgery, other than the nurse telling me to open my eyes. I didn't have nausea, which is a first after surgery. My husband did everything for me day 1 (so I didn't have to use my arms) We went out for supper. Pain was minimal.

Day 2: I felt a lot more like myself. I was sore for sure. Lifting my arms (especially my right one), was tender. By evening I had full range of motion. I just moved slow. I didn't like how the meds made me tired, and kinda foggy. So day 2 I took my last pill.

Day 3&4: I used mostly Tylenol. Definitely bloated. I felt so much better day 3. We were away from home so we enjoyed, sitting around & relaxing. Nice just to hang out with my man. He took amazing care of me. I would say having someone help the first couple days is essential. It would have been horrible and very emotional had I done this alone.

Day 5: I ended up with a slight fever ( nothing serious) just felt warm and my joints really hurt (especially my knees). My muscles were all achy- like I was getting the flu (mostly in my legs). I found my sleep was restless. This was my worst day- I felt off, and not very good, even a tad nauseas .. I also had a head-ache. I looked at the side effects of my anti-biotics and this was all on the list. I had taken my last pill that morning... so now it was a waiting game. By end of day 6 my joints no longer hurt, I think I felt like myself completely, for sure by day 7.

Day7+ each day I feel more mobile. So glad to get rid of the compression bra. I have switched to the genie bra, recommended by my PS. I feel so good now. I am still careful, not lifting or anything, but feel like myself.

After having our cutie kids, I started researching...

After having our cutie kids, I started researching breast augmentation. I was really nervous about the procedure. My goal was a very natural look. I was hoping to just replace what I lost. I did struggle a bit about the 'vanity' of this procedure. The amount of money spent on just me was hard to swallow. However, now that the surgery is over, I am really glad I did it. I am sore, but not in pain. Feels like a got a really great chest workout in. My husband has been awesome at taking care of me. We travelled from Alberta Canada, to have this procedure. It's nice to recover without feeling like I have to take care of the kiddos. Today is day 2 and I feel pretty good. I am bloated, and my chest is swollen, but everything looks really good... far better than I expected them to look this early on.

I took my time and did a lot of research on different surgeons. As soon as I seen Dr. Cohen's website, I was certain he was my doctor. I watched some of his YouTube and realself interviews and that confirmed my choice. Dr. Cohen's staff is amazing. Bri was prompt with every email, she answered all my questions and made me feel so at ease. The morning of surgery Marcella, the nurse that checked me in was fantastic. She was so sweet and I enjoyed talking to her. The anesthesiologist was awesome as well, I typically get sick with a general, first time ever that I didn't. He was kind and explained everything to me regarding his role in my surgery. Dr. Cohen, was very thorough, kind and understanding. I felt he really listened to me and I completely trusted him with my results. Even though it is very early, I can tell that I will love my results. They look amazing, I was expected awkward, misshapen breasts to start with, they already look fantastic. I was nervous about travelling out of country to have this procedure done, however, after my consult, first meeting with Dr. Cohen, 2 days prior to surgery.... I felt assured I had made the right choice. I highly recommend Dr. Cohen, he is a true artist. Very thankful to his team for making my experience amazing and taking such good care of me.
