I originally only planned to do a breast lift and implant exchange but I've always wanted a bigger butt. I'm Hispanic small frame about 115 pounds with no butt. After the kids the body went south and my hubby promised to get me all fixed up after I was done breastfeeding out last baby. Well the time came and I started researching butt lifts. I didn't think I had enough fat to do a bbl but my doctor said I had enough in my lower back and a little on my stomach to be able to do it. Every review I've read, women had to gain weight to get a significant difference but I didn't have time. I decided at the last minute to add the bbl procedure. I was super scared about the surgery but it went very well. I'm happy with my results thus far. I know I have a lot of swelling but I can't believe the difference in my midsection and butt. I believe the nurse said the Dr was able to get 300ccs in each buttock. I know it's not a lot for some women but I didn't want a huge butt therefore I think I'll be happy. Today is my 4th day post op and I'm doing a lot better. This surgery is not a joke when it comes to recovery. I think the worst was being able to get out of bed. It took me 4 days to be able to roll out of bed. I've been taking vicodin for the pain. The worst area where I feel the most pain is the lower back and upper butt where the fat was injected. The drain tube is also a pain but tolerable. The first couple days were the worst but every day gets easier. Overall I think I'll be happy with the final results but I guess we'll see in a few weeks.

Thank you! I'm only 5 days post op so I'm curious what I'll look like in a few weeks. My waist has shrunk from a 31 to 28 inch in the last few days. I'm excited for it to get smaller once the swelling goes down.

Congrats! It's exciting. The worst is having to wait for the final results.

You look great at 5 days postop! I'm 3.5 weeks post op with butt implants and small fat transfer BBL. Recovery is SO tough and I'm still having a hard time. After 3 weeks, I finally began to feel better, but taking it day by day. Did you only have BBL or implants, too?
May 28, 2014
Yeah I've read implants are harder to recover from. I only had the bbl and breast lift with implant exchange. I didn't want a very significant difference in my butt, just a lift and some contouring. I had to go back to work today so I'm lucky I had a fast recovery. Although the first few days were extremely tough. I thought I would need to extend my "vacation" but I started feeling a lot better yesterday. I hope you feel better! Do you like your results?

On your second pic, where you have tape on your butt, are the lines around your waist from the lipo? What an amazing difference in your waist! Congrats!
November 8, 2014
Thank you! No that's actually markings from the compression belt. I had to wear it at all times. The lipo just leaves small scars where they insert the wand. Lipo does hurt to recover from, probably the worst pain.

You paid $7000 total for both?
September 22, 2015
I doubt it. He's one of the most pricey surgeons in the valley. My gf got quoted 23K by him for the same procedures another East Valley surgeon performed for 12K total. That's probably just for the BBL portion. Bet she paid close to 20K for everything.

boob lift looking better

Newbodyafter3
My breast lift has been a walk in the park compared to my bbl. My boobs are healing great but the tape is starting to itch. The shape is so different from my first boob job but I think I like it. I just found out my doctor put in 650ccs! I told him I wanted to go a little bigger from my original implants. I get the tape taken off next week and I'm a little nervous about seeing them. My original implants were put in through my arm pits so I had flawless big boobies! Ugh. Oh well I'm hoping the scars are minimal and fade away a little.

How did theu position you after surgery?! Because of the combind ba and bbl,, they keep saying you should not lay on your back bit how else could you !
June 22, 2014
I had to lay on my back but I used a lot of pillows until I could sleep on my side. It was tough but it can be done. Im almost 6 weeks post op and the recovery has been slow. I'm still uncomfortable to sleep because it still hurts. I'm not sure how much more of the fat I could have salvaged from sleeping on my stomach. I wish my butt was a little bigger but i didn't have too much fat to begin with. He was pretty aggressive on my flanks. It was the only way for me since I can't be out of commission too long since I work and have little kids.

I hear you! Im 116 lbs, 4'11 ft,,, it is such an investment (around &13k) that you want it to work out as you hoped for it. Im having cold now and my doctor said he might delay my surgery because of that :(... Hope you get well soon hun and thanks for sharing your experience

bbl 10 week update

Newbodyafter3
It's been a while since my last review but I've had requests for an update. The bbl recovery was pretty difficult and uncomfortable but I am in love with my results. I went through the roller coaster emotions about it because you go from a big swollen butt and it gets smaller and smaller every week. I think the lipo pain has been the worst of it. I still feel numbness and a burning sensation. I also had some loose skin on my stomach and the compression band makes it look worse. The Dr said it's normal and it will get better with time. It has gotten better. I started doing light work outs at 6 weeks and have increased to full weight training again. I love how my clothes fit now! My butt looks perky and fuller.

Hi! You look great. How many cc in your butt? Boobs are amazing!
September 3, 2014
Hello. Thank you! It was only about 400 ccs per buttock. The doctor couldn't get any more than that.

Wow.....How much was your BBL? I scheduled a consulation with him.

I think it was around 7k. I'm not sure I'd have to check. I might have got a discount since I did more than one procedure. You're going to love it! He's a great doctor.
