After op
I have added those before op pics just after the consultant had marked me. Went in for my op about 11.30 am and was out for about 2.30pm. My consultant was there when I woke up to make sure I was ok and then came to my room when I was settled to check up on me again which was really good he told me everything went well????I sick twice after the op due to having a high temperature and still having the general in my system but by 530 pm I felt more alert and had tea and toast which I did managed to keep down. My mum dad and bf visited also which made me feel so much better???? the nurses where great checking in on me all the time and taking my temperature they injected 2courses of antibiotics. 1 early in the day the other about 10.30pm. My legs where attached to these compression machines to stop clotting they were like the pumps they put round your arms when checking your blood pressure but now on my legs going up and down constantly. I did have to get an nurse to detach me every time I had to go to the bathroom. Due to the machine on my legs I could hardly sleep must of fell asleep about 2.30am. Woke up at 630am

Hi, u excited ? Yeah it's a little sore but manageable. I could walk the next day but just have to take it easy. I am very swollen at the moment but I knew that was going to happen. So have big baggy clothes at the ready. I managed to go eat out on day 3. It's more sore trying to get up from sitting but once your up and walking it eases off. Please keep me updated on how you get on.

I weighted 145 pounds was wearing some size 10- but I was mainly moving into size 12 clothes. I have not weighted myself as I don't see the point at the moment. Your body swells up with fluid so I don't want to disappoint myself. I think I'll wait till week 6 before I weigh myself. Also all the Meds stop your from going to the bathroom. Take laxatives on your 2nd or 3rd night after it. It will be a lot easier and quicker to go as it's hard to try sit on the pan. Hope this helps

Your doctor sounds great. I am in day 6 of my recovery to vaser on knees inner and outer thighs. My dr didn't come to see me or explain anything he done. I didn't get out onto one of the compression machines you mentioned either or got given antibiotics . I have also been in an and out of a@e with cellulitis on I.v antibiotics. In this time not once have a spoken or heard from my dr nor the clinic who done my op. I do have an appointment there today and I have written a letter of complaint.

Day 3
Thought I would add some pics. My tummy is flatter but still swollen and lumpy. My thighs look massive but I was expecting this to happen with all the swelling.
Very exciting, keep us posted!
