Do you have more recent pictures? The nasal pull down is because of the swelling so close post op, not really fair to judge it when the pictures are old.

Thanks for the update on your nose. Is the picture you posted on March 17th2024 a recent photo during 2024 or was this a pic a few months after procedure. How did your incision heal? Has the swelling subsided for you? Your reviews believe it or not save lives. If you are brave enough to post and honest review like you did and continue to follow up you serve such justice to so many man and women looking to schedule with him. Bc sadly I believe the reviews on this website are shady. I believe real self has interest in with the providers and providers have ability to alter reviews. So the rare negative reviews truly help people. So a huge hug and a very big thank you! Hope to hear from you

I’m terribly sorry you had this effect. This should have have happened. There are ways to only lift the lip skin and ways to only pull down the nostril skin. My rhinoplasty surgeon actually performed this specific type of nostril pull-down technique but in an aesthetic way for me while doing a nostril reduction. My recommendation is to go to a rhinoplasty specialist who also knows lip lifts. What happened to you is something about the deeper tissues was done secured or released correctly. I do think there are solutions for you. Keep looking. In my opinion, what you need now is an alarm base reduction where the nostril is taken inward once again to its original position, and then you also must have a (properly executed) lip lift to pull your lip up and close that gap since you’ll have a gap in tissue.

Alar base reduction. Ugh. Realself is terrible.

And I meant this should not have happened to you and the tissues were released incorrectly

Okay on closer inspection this is a recent post op photo. Your stitches are in this photo too. Your nose looking like that is totally normal for a month or two.

Lip pulled apart and flattened

jaago734
It has wrecked my lip shape, pulled apart my Cupids bow and completely flattened my philtrum. He had no business pulling down my nostril like that

I'm so sorry. So many people refuse to believe that this doctor is not perfect. Like no doctor is. I'm sorry this happened to you. Has he reached out to you ? Did he offer any help?
April 2, 2024
Ofc he is not perfect, but it’s kind of hard to do a correct judgement when the pictures are taken directly after the surgery and she is one year post op. That’s just normal swelling, and because he only cut on one side it will look uneven for that matter of time. Impossible to know if it looks like that today.

He said he can inject something to break up scar tissue. After consulting with other surgeons I was told by both of them that it wouldn't do anything to help the issue. I was told the side crease should've never been cut into like that. Unfortunately didn't have any suggestions on how to improve it. Truely don't know what Mascaro was thinking. This whole situation sickens me.
