I Loved my Experience!

I've had this raised dark scar for about 4-5 years now, it's made me very insecure about my skin & wearing certain clothes to prevent anyone from seeing it. I was getting Vbeam laser treatment from a medical spa for about a year and it did not work whatsoever. I found the scar healing institute online & immediately booked an appointment. My first visit was back in April and it was just to see what the scar looked like, the shape, texture, etc. he then recommended a tretinoin cream for me to use every night for 6 weeks. I honestly saw a huge difference within those weeks and was very optimistic with how the end result would look like. My second visit was in May & I received a shot to help speed up the healing process on top and was told to keep applying the tret cream every night. My scar was flatter than it had ever been & the color was slowly fading. My third visit was in July and I had laser treatment done, which I found to be the most effective because it was completely flat and the color of my scar was almost the same as my skin! I was told to put on tret cream for 2 weeks, 2 weeks off of tret, & then 2 weeks on tret before my next appointment. The bottom picture shows what my scar looked like during my fourth visit and they were super happy for me and how the scar healed. He gave me another shot to help even out the surface of the scar and was told that my next treatment may be my final treatment! Words cannot describe how happy I am with the results I've seen on my scar in just a short amount of time. Very lucky to have found the scar healing institute! I also want to add how kind & friendly everyone has been to me & remembers everything regardless of how many patients they have. They create bonds & friendships with their patients & I believe that's what makes the healing process sweeter!
