I’m from Canada and I have been struggling with my acne scars for almost a decade. The first dermatologist I saw about the scarring told me you won’t be able to improve that, people who try just get disappointed and upset with all the money they end up spending. I would always go back to that message every time I would try to improve my acne scars in the past. I’ve done sessions of fraxel, profractional, fractora laser, microneedling and Radiesse with minimal improvement to my acne scars.
However, since my treatment with Dr Emer, I have had significant improvement! I cannot believe when I look in the mirror at the level of improvement !
He’s also the nicest, coolest dermatologist. He makes the whole experience super fun. I first met him back in New York when I was scared to try microdroplet silicone (I regret being so scared of this filler because it is ideal for my scar type and I tried it later with Dr. Emer in Miami and it has made such a difference!) so I decided to try bellafill. He was so kind and engaging in conversation. I honestly have never had better service anywhere!
During my second appointment with Dr. Emer in Miami (this is when the microdroplet silicone was done along with contour TRL Erbium laser and Pixel RF microneedling) even though it was late and I was his last patient, he did not rush me at all, he really took his time so I can get the best possible result. You can really tell he wants to help improve your skin and make you feel better about yourself.
His whole team is amazing, the treatment coordinators Jose and Nadine were so patient and kind with me even though I had a lot of questions and took a long time to make up my mind. They scheduled phone calls so it was much easier to get all your questions and concerns answered. They were so nice during the whole experience and never applied any pressure. And Jonathan has been so amazing too, going through in details the skincare routines, answering all my questions and even calling on the weekend to check up on how I’m doing. He would also schedule phone calls frequently so you can directly talk to him instead of shallow emailing. He was very down to earth and easy to talk to.
