In Dec. 2012 I was diagnosed with a melanoma on my neck. I was referred to the Georgia Institute for Plastic Surgery. The day my surgery was to take place we arrived at the institute and found out that the doctor who was scheduled to do my procedure was sick. Dr. Paletta stepped in and agreed to do the surgery after he finished with his patients. Upon meeting him I was immediately at peace with him doing my procedure. His bedside manner and easy going approach put me at ease. His staff was very attentive and helpful. it was an excellent experience.As soon as he got the pathology report he called me (late on a Fri.) so I didn't have to worry all weekend. Just before Thanksgiving this year (2013) I was diagnosed with a melanoma just above my right eye. I had my dermatologist immediately refer me to Dr. Paletta. I met with him and he agreed to do the procedure that day so it would over before Thanksgiving and I would not have to worry about it. His staff stayed late to do the procedure the day before Thanksgiving and even though I am sure they would have liked to get home they gave no hint of impatience. Perhaps the only thing better to share is that unless I tell you exactly where the incisions were made, you would never find them. I never imagined that there would be no visible scaring. I recommend Dr. Paletta and his staff to all of my friends and family.
