3 weeks Post Op today!

Sorry that I fell off the side of Earth and stopped posting. After one week I was suppose to go back to work and my HR department didn't like my doctors note so I had to fight them for another week, it was a hot mess but I've been at work for a week and I am totally fine!
As I am 3 weeks post op I have noticed a few things
1. boobs look better every day
2. one implant has dropped more than the other (makes me a little nervous but I know I have until 3-4 months until I will reach final result)
3. my nipples still feel tender/sensitive
4. the most tender area for me in the incision.
5. my skin was tight as a balloon at first but is stretching nicely with daily cocoa butter lotion.

Day 5

So I am done with my antibiotics and stopped taking the Percocet. I sometimes take a Valium in the morning or evening if I'm feeling "stiff" when I wake up my nipples feel on fire. I have been iceing them almost everyday just for comfortm. I didtched the surgical bra because it the band was kind of right and annoying. This bra is from Wal-Mart XL very comfy. My left has dropped a little bit my follow up,is Wednesday. Will keep everyone posted :)

Day after Surgery!

So.. I feel great! Day of surgery, put the anti nausea patch behind ear 1.5 hours before surgery time. Got to the center for surgery. Short physical, pregnancy test, started IV, made sure I was getting the correct implants. Gave me a cocktail of Versed via IV, pill of Xanax, and dissolving Zofran. Then I was off to get boobies. Next thing I know my chest feels heavy and the nurse is helping me into my sweat pants :)
First day was really good I think. Just sore, not painful just heavy chested sore feeling.
I did take my Valium and Percocet as often as I should just to keep the discomfort to a minimum. Valium I think helps a lot more than the Percocet. But still took them both. Also Keflex (antibiotic 3 times a day for 5 days) I do have the "grandma bra with a little gauze and steri-strips. ICE packs are wonderful. I got a large spaghetti strap that has a build in bra (without padding) and stuck the ice packs in those bad boys.
I did sleep in the couch propped up, which helps a lot. My follow up is next week since everything went so well. I am very excited.
My skin feels very tight! Can't wait to take a shower tomorrow (48 hours) and lotion the top and sides of my boobs.
I went out today to hobby lobby with my girlfriends (no driving for me!) I felt fine, they were amazed. I know they say take it easy but I can't sit on the couch 24/7. I even got up early and went for a walk.

Great! Informative, nice, professional. I always thought plastic surgeons would honestly be creepy a little but I can tell he loves his jobs and his passion is making people feel better about their bodies and I admire that.
