Experience: Dr. Vann was awesome. I went to a free seminar with my girlfriend and got a free consult the next day. (I did have another consultation with another surgeon in that practice but switched) He was very informative and answered all my questions. The nurse, Mo helped me try on the implants and gave me advice because she had implants herself.

Hi how are you? I saw on a post that you are getting BA on 5/20. Don't be nervous! Good luck! Here are some tips from me, had mind done on 4/30! First of all stick with the 400 cc - on the day of dont get scared & ask to go smaller. I did & I regret it. Sooo many girls on here are in the same situation as me. You're gonna look great!! Ask your plastic surgeon if they provide the surgery bra or do you have to bring one with you. Wear sweats & zip up sweatshirt to Surgury. You need to be able to wear something comfy for a few days & can't be pulling a shirt over your head. I got Special K protein drinks & slim fast drinks (& straws) for the 1st few days to sip on cold, you may not be very hungry, they are packed with vitamins & fill you up. Buy stool softners !!! Very important! I took 3 every single time I took my pain meds (I had vicodin) take together. Also get Tylenol, not Advil. Keep crackers & bottles of water by your bedside! Don't forget to take the pain Meds as directed! Even if your sleeping set an alarm or have someone to wake you, you'll be sorry if that happens!! Sorry so long & good luck!!!! Thank you so much for the tips! I went and got ginger ale and crackers today, Will be getting bottled water and boost drinks! When did the major pain/soreness start so subside. I've had to take narcotics before and HATE them, I bough ice packs and extended relief Tylenol extra strength. Yeah everyone is like omg 400cc! Me I'm like...I want what I'm paying for! Haha

Day 2 & 3 were pretty bad for me, there was NO WAY that I couldn't take the Vicidin. I took 2 every 3 1/2 hours, for me I was in a lot of pain & really liked the fact I could just sleep, eat quick & drink - then it was back to sleep, I still had some pain inbetween the 3 to 6 hour mark & that's when I would take tylenol also to take the edge off. I started to be more mobile & feel better on day 4 but I was very sluggish. Just try to take it easy as best you can. You're young, so you may not be as tired and run down as I was!!! LOL & That will be the perfect size! (400cc) for you!!!! You're gonna love them! Best of Luck!!!! ;-)

24 years old. 5'5", 120Lbs. 32B, 26 waist, I like to stay active but I'm not a health freak. Hope this gives a perspective ! Also I have taken 7 days off total. Will update again!

Pre-Op Appt

Had my Pre-Op appointment with the surgical nurse. Basic info/physical was obtained. Measurements, vital signs. Signed waivers about all the risks. I was given prescriptions, Percocet, Keflex (antibiotic), Valium (for muscle contractions), Zofran (nausea) and a nausea patch I need to wear the day of surgery. I also had to get blood work done at Lab Corp, a CBC, CMP and a pregnancy test. Came out to $87. (I did not feel like driving to my primary care an hour away for the blood work). Very excited! I think I am slightly more excited to be off work for a week! HAHA! Can't wait for some boobies!

Congrats on your augmentation! You look great. I had a question about LabCorp, was it easy to get your blood work done through them? I'm considering using them as well.
