Hey! It's been a year since you had your surgery. How are you doing today? It'd be great to hear from you again. Hope you're still happy with your results!

4 weeks post op and an issue

On Saturday at exactly 4 weeks post op I felt like I was wet under my right breast. Had my husband look he said ah ya u have about a 1cm hole in your incision. I texted a pic to my family dr who said come to the er.

He swabbed the hole and put me on antibiotics said it's a stitch abscess and looks superficial but if it goes into the tissue I have to have my implant removed. I thought I was going to die lol.

So here praying the antibiotics work and the abscess doesn't get worse. I see the surgeon on friday.

Now last night being monday night u feel three lumps which I think are also stitch abscesses in my left boob in the incision line. I hope they don't break open also and am hoping that maybe the surgeon will remove whatever it is so it does not hurt my implant.

Check with your physician but sometimes you can pack a wound with a wick and that helps them close up. I had to do this with my son after an appendectomy as usual check with your doc and see if this is something he would recommend. http://www.angiologist.com/wound-care-section/wound-care-made-easy/

Oh gosh...i hope you're doing better!! Have you had any pain when raising your arms at all?
April 21, 2016
Things are awesome now had to have 4 sutures removed and all has closed and healed. No pain at all never really had any to begin with. Yesterday and today my breasts are sore but my period is coming soon so it's to be expected. Friday I will be 6 weeks post op.

That's good news! Girl me too...lol.. I have an IUD and haven't had one but for some reason since my surgery I've had it on and off..weird! Do you experience any pain when lifting your arm? When I lift my left arm its really painful.

No pain at all when lifting my arms. Did you get under or over the muscle? I have overs but a friend got understand and at one point her one arm went numb from nerve damage due to stretching of the muscle. A few days and she was back to normal feeling.

Just curious why the Doxtor didn't recommend a lift from the beginning? I'm not a surgeon and it looks like you would need a lift. Especially if you go by the chart. Adding implants doesn't lift the nipple , just makes the breast latger
