Scared but Excited! Gain Weight With First Child and Never Bounced Back - Sarasota, FL

One week to go and getting very scared!!! Having all types of emotions. I hope I make it through this surgery and the recovery. I ordered a hospital bed for comfort and feel good about this idea- it was only $150 per month! I am very scared about fake boobs. I hope I am not going to wake up with huge fake looking boobs. I have a 36c but they need some TLC! My husband left with the kids for a few weeks to give me downtime and my mom comes here in few days. I feel alone in this because I have no support. No one thinks I should do this because of the risks. Picking up more items tomorrow then fly out for work. Gone until Wednesday do that will help take my mind off of the surgery.

All is great 2 weeks out. I was walking at 1 week without a problem. Got my drains out at day 7. I am still taking pain meds periodically because the nights seem to be harder for me. I am starting to see some swelling this week and hope that my body gets smaller as time progresses. I am still so glad that I did this for myself. My doctor is AMAZING!!! She made me feel so at ease and she is truly an artist!!!! My body looks so much better than before and I am not even healed. The surgery itself was easy. The first week I rented a hospital bed and It helped. This was a hard week because of the pain pump and drains and the inability to care for myself and do things. I found the hardest thing to do was to get out of the bed to go to the bathroom because I wasn't supposed to use my arms and my stomach was numb. I drank a lot of water and this kept me in the bathroom. Also it is imperative to get cough drops in case you develop a cough. I had to cough three times so far and it about killed me and I immediately used a cough drop-I would have died if I didn't have one. Anyway, so excited and my body is looking hot now. Will update this week.
Quick note; I knew going into this that the doctor wasn't going to be able to get all the fat on my flanks gone given the length of the procedure so it is important to note that we will be doing another slim lipo treatment on multiple areas after the procedure. I want my inner thighs, more on my flanks because this is truly my problem area and my back bra area. I would love my double chin area too if i can do this too. We have scheduled this 3 months after the procedure. I am soooo excited to do this and totally trust my doctor!! Now I Know why people get hooked on plastic surgery. It totally makes all the difference in the world. I feel so much better about myself. Would do it again tomorrow!! IF you are on the fence, do it!!!!! Stop thinking about it, it will change your life.
