Your so lucky he removed so much!
I was insistent on not having a revision... When you do the math... Doctors have mentioned on here that one centimeter to 1.2 centimeters is pleasing in this area between the nose and the lip on a woman... And take into consideration that you will fall 2 millimeters... So by removing 8.5 millimeters from 1.6 that leaves me with 7.5... + 2 millimeters after it settles... That puts me right about one centimeter
I totally understand your viewpoint. I am just so worried about nostril distortion (I have upturned nose from botched nose job and didn't want more nostril show) that I have been nervous about pressing my future surgeon on this issue.
Stitched to the septum, that's fascinating!
I have dissolvable stitches... And removable stitches which come out tomorrow morning... I specifically asked him how the stitches were done and he said they are attached to the septum.... I guess that makes sense considering they need to hold on to something and not just the skin above
Can't wait to see your before/after. My lip surgeon won't remove more than 8mm at once for fear of distortion of my 22mm upper lip. (But he also does not secure the lip lift to the septum.) I wish there was medical consensus on the best method for the best outcome.
me too... So many doctors do so many different things... But I think for the most part all the girls lip lifts ... turn out great
I had a rhinoplasty myself... I have no nostril distortion... Although they do swell from the surgery itself... Maybe because he attaches it to the septum for a deeper stitch that's why there's no distortion?
Can you please post pics ? I am so anxious to see the before and after :)
