Sorry so long!!!

WORTH IT$5,000
Things have gone well. No issues and I’m happy to not have pillows under my eyes anymore! Sometimes I feel my eyes look a little sunken but oh well. The bags would have gotten worse overtime. I strongly urge people to get this procedure. It’s life changing.

Looking better :)

Okay, so I may have freaked out unnecessarily. The swelling/ bulge I noticed on the right eye is gone. However, I noticed the other night that my cat (usually not allergic) caused my left upper eyelid to swell. Then I had the same issue with a swollen, puffy lower left eye. So I think this is being triggered by something and then causing my lower lid to puff out. So... I'm feeling much better. Also, I had IPL today for the bruises:)

Hey, glad your feeling better! I'm still thinking about doing it in December. You still are left with bruises? Did your Doc say why? Any other issues for you?

Hi :) I think my bruising is unusual. The doctor thinks the IPL will correct it. If you're teaching I might wait till the summer.

I work part-time, so I was thinking of doing the week before Xmas break. Do you think 3 weeks would be long enough to hide any bruising and swelling?

Do you have dry eyes now? I want to have this done considering I have huge bags, but I deal with dry eyes already. I am not sure it is wise.

my only reason for not getting this done is the recovery time. I am a professional speaker and can't live with bruises like that for son long. I do bruise easily. but your results are beautiful. You were already beautiful btw, but I so get it... Its all I see when I look in the mirror or at a picture.

Something is not right!

I'm so sad and nervous. I'm been so focused on the bruises that I didn't notice my left eye still has a bag! It's just loose skin. I'm so shocked and terrified. I hope this can be fixed.

Sorry you're upset! What I am seeing is redness and a little bit of a shadow. Not so much a bag though it may just not be visible to me from the photo. I know it's upsetting to see this given that's what you had the procedure for! I am going through an "ordeal" from filler in that area gone wrong and I can hardly look at myself in the mirror. I'm sure you'll be in touch with your doctor tomorrow and from what you've described regarding your experience with his practice, he'll be responsive and address what is going on. Hang in there and try not to focus to much on that one area. You are very attractive and it does not look terrible at all but only what you think and feel matters. I am hoping to have a lower lid bleph too though clearly there is no guarantee. Please update when you've been in touch with your doc and let us know what he says.

Thank you for the kind words! I'm just so shocked because I never noticed this till today. I did use some vitamin K, prescribed by the doctor, which caused the redness. I'm hoping that was also the case for the puffiness.

Hi there. Just come across your posts and feel for you.
I too under went lower blepharoplasty. I haven't done a full review on here yet and I intend to because this site was wonderful for me during the years of research.
I can tell you that at about 8-12 weeks after the procedure I was worried because I notice a swelling under the eye that was the puffiness (before the op). I showed my doctor and he wasn't at all worried - I'm not sure what he explained but something about the fluid drains there and it will settle. He said this could go on for 6 - 12 months depending on how different people heal. This has settled for me.
All I can say is for the first few months you will see different things everyday (swellings, wrinkles, bruising, etc but IT WILL SETTLE)
You look great and you have to admit that little swelling is so much better than the bags we had. It's the best thing I have ever done for myself! The confidence is amazing!
I really hope your issues are what mine were. X

Sorry me again....do continue with the ice bags, tea bags, cucumber etc that if you were anything like me in the past did because we still do need to care for our eyes and invert in a good quality under eye cream - we will still continue to age

Thank you! That gives me some hope. The other doctors on here have suggested laser resurfacing. Maybe I should give it more time and see what it looks like when the bruises are gone.

So happy with your words!!! Had mine on October 2 and experience different swellings and sometimes feel not to know what to expect. Definitely happy with overall results and what a great difference this has made!
