I've always been told by others that I frown very deeply during concentration, without my realization. This didn't bother me much until I began noticing tiny wrinkles exactly where I frown. I also began paying more attention to when it happens to "catch myself in the act" in order to see how it looks. Turns out, the frowning also caused my eyebrows to have a "hooded" look over my eyes making them look smaller. Well, no girl wants her eyes to look smaller, right?
So, I made an appointment with Dr. Wright. He came in the room and immediately made me feel like we've known each other for years. He explained the process very thoroughly, including his technique which involves less actual "pokes" but is more precisely targeted to the affected area.
After sitting for a few minutes with a numbing gel on the skin between my eyebrows and under each eyebrow, Dr. Wright did the Botox injection. The injections did not hurt at all as Dr. Wright went very slowly and cautiously - I felt like I was the only patient at the office.
Dr. Wright informed me that it may take roughly 3-5 days to see full results but I began seeing results within 24 hours! Thinking this may be unusual I contacted the office and he took my call himself, much to my surprise! He explained this was on the fast side but perfectly normal. I guess I just really wanted to see my results fast!
I was diligent about following post procedure instructions which included: no vigorous activity for the rest of the day, not rubbing the treated area, having my head elevated for about 4 hours, and to do some "squinching" to have the Botox make its way into the muscles.
I did not have any negative effects after the procedure, neither did I have ANY bruising.
The amount that Dr. Wright treated me with is perfect because I still have movement in my forehead so I don't look "frozen" but I no longer frown down with my eyebrows, don't have any of those dreadful "11's" between the brows, and the Botox he injected under the eyebrows gave them a little lift which opened up my eyes even more!
Overall, I am ecstatic about the results and so happy to have found a plastic surgeon that actually cares about the esthetic and personal values, and not just patient turnover.

Dr. Wright is very lighthearted and easy going. He literally makes you feel like you're his only patient at the moment. His bedside manner uses humor to distract you from the procedure so you don't get overly nervous - how many plastic surgeons will spend the time/energy to apply that trait in an office visit? I was also pleasantly surprised as to how easily it was to get in touch with him. No being shuffled around the office voicemail and not getting a call back for days from this practice! Overall, I did not feel like a regular patient under the care of Dr. Wright. He took the time to get to know me, genuinely listened to my concerns, and made me feel completely at ease.
