First five weeks post op

So the first three days post op where the worst. At that point I felt like complete and utter [RS bleep]. I got sick from anesthesia as per usual so I threw up a lot which made recovery even harder Bc throwing up is no joke after the procedure. I felt like nobody really talked about how hard recovery is in their reviews. And let's say I was one of the best ones recovering in the house Bc prior to surgery I was working out 2-3 hours a day. Even dr.tania and almonte where surprised how quickly I was recovering Bc by day 4 I was good. But not completely better. But recovery was still very very very hard. I took out my drains at day 10 because I had to come home with them in, my mom pulled them out for me. It did not hurt at all, felt more like something was squirming out of me. I had to come home 8 days post op Bc my husband got relocated to a new contract and needed me home with the kids. Luckily my mom Was able to come with me. Moved when I was 3.5 weeks post op which was pretty hard on my body Bc we did it all in 2 days. Since then I have finally been able to recover. Took me almost 5 weeks to be able to stand up completely straight with the faja off. One thing that has helped me a lot is my husband massaging me daily and I'm always laying down and alternating the heating pad around my body. I'm healing nicely tho it's been a long process. Yesterday I made 5 weeks post op and today I woke up feeling much better than any other morning. My fluid had gone down almost completely due to me finally resting a lot and massaging and the heating pad combined. Thank god it has been a smooth recovery but mentally exhausting. I'm still swollen but I know that takes time. I wish I would have done this sooner!!

During and after surgery

So they are wheeling me to the operating room and I cannot see Bc you can't take your glasses with you. I'm internally starting to freak out and question my decision. We get inside the OR and everyone is talking its a lot of commotion and they take me inside one room, well that was the wrong room so that scared me a bit. Well then I start crying as they wheel me to the correct OR room. I'm extremely anxious at this point and ready to back out. I get on the table and the anesthesiologist starts my iv, she sees me crying and says did I hurt you or are those tears of joy. I say I'm just getting scared now she puts a small dose of meds In my iv I look at the nurse holding me up and tell her "im about to go to sleep". I didn't make it to pray with almonte but I know she said a prayer for the both of us. So during surgery I wake up as they are lipoing under my left arm and tell them I'm awake. I don't remember much after that except getting wheeled to recovery with the major chills from anesthesia. After recovery they take me to my room where my mom is waiting and start giving me pain meds every four hours. I kept throwing up from anesthesia which I always do, it always makes me sick for two days. Now let me state this to you ladies going alone, hire a private nurse while you are there. The care was not that great, and for $50 a day you can have your own nurse just for yourself and it will be well worth your money. Anyway I barely ate food and that faja was nooooo joke lol. They released me to go home the day after surgery around noon.

Day of surgery

So the morning of surgery I arrive at the hospital with my mom at 6am for pre op because I am due to go first that morning! It was starting to get surreal and I started to get antsy and finally almonte comes in with her happy self and gives me the famous blue pill! Talks to my mom and I and says she would see me in the back to pray with me before surgery tells me to put on my "sexy blue dress" lol (blue gown). Marks me up and walks out. I get dressed and wait for them to come pick me for surgery. They arrived faster than Expected and I'm texting my husband to make sure he knows how much I love him and our babies. I kiss my mom goodbye and she blesses me!

Procedure done on 4/25/2017 - There are no words to describe how amazing Dra.almonte was! Her staff is the sweetest and on top of it! They are very busy but take such great care of every patient. I felt more like family than a client. Almonte was so amazing herself! Went in for a mommy makeover and got everything besides the bbl! It is exactly what i wanted and she exceded my expectations! I gave her free reigns and had no wish pics and she nailed my vision in my head. I trusted her and she delivered.
