Canceled with Duran...going to Colombia!!!
Ok so after my struggles with getting my hemo to 14 and consulting with my PCP and others I made the decision to go to Colombia. Why? Well first of all they go by US lab standards. So hemo at 12.5 is acceptable and It doesn't translate to 11.5 like in DR.
Second...it's the meca of plastic surgery. The place is full of A+ plastic surgeons. They are more advanced and equipped with the latest technology. I have known about colombia since I was a very young girl but up until now had no knowledge of who to go to or how to begin to search there. One of the reasons I went to Dr.Cortes in Houston was because his web site says he trained or studied (something like that) in Colombia, well that was a disappointment and my pictures show it.
I was told the reason my implants never worked out. By 4 Colombian doctors and 2 US doctors and was because that 500cc implant was too big!!! I was told that my body should have 325cc max!!! Cortes told me that they only have one size and shape. The one he put. Lie! Any way I'm not here to talk about him, or bash him. Just had to share those facts for a sec.
So I am now going to Cali Colombia with Dr.Alder Henao to fix me!!!! BBL, lipo, mini TT, BL&BA, rhinoplasty, cellulite removal, botox and lip fillers.
I'm staying in Colombia for 3wks post op.
I am sooooo happy and feel better about Colombia.

Yes girrrrrl I'm with u on that. Dr. Henao is more informative and very precise wit his details. His tt is very unique. Just like dr. Villalobos tt is invisible u can't even see it. Dr. Giovanni Cortes Breast incisions are around the areola. And he do the laser lipo and ab etching (6pack). Their the best in Colombia. If it ain't cause all my stuff is paid for to go to DR I would've went there instead

hey! im also thinking about getting a rhinoplasty with Henao but I cant find many results except a few on instagram. out of curiosity how did you make your decision to do the rhinoplasty with him? congrats on your decision! you are so brave for doing that all at once! im kind of hesitant to do my rhinoplasty and BBL BL and BR at once but you make me feel confident, let us all know how it goes!

Low hemo DR standards!!!
I have been working so so so hard to boost my hemo. I eat always keeping in mind my hemo. I take iron pills, vitamin c, folic acid, blood builder. But my hemo hasn't changed at all in one month!! I am at a place where I may need to cancel my sx and find some one in the US that will operate. According to DR standards 12.5 translates to a 11.5, my pcp says my labs are totally normal and that I'm great shape for sx but it dsnt matter. I'm so sad, there is nothing else I can do. I have never had any health issues EVER. I don't know why my body isn't boosting hemo to theses freak levels of 14. I'm stuck in this monster body that was created by a doc.

Try SSS tonic. Its very potent and it works. Its kinda like liquid geritol with over 500% daily value of iron.... Dont give up. Good luck

I found it at target but not all target stores sell it. Try cvs, walgreens etc if you can't find it at a target.

Floradix or isotonix iron. Expensive but just might do it. Also tell durans assistant that you can bring your us labs to prove what your level is. I think the level drops a point because a lot of ppl get labs done right off the plane. I think maybe changes and altitude and such are actually what's effecting the labs,

No prob. You do have time. And depending on your stomach can take 3 or 4 doses of iron a day, separated.... I took my labs to consult and the doctor said it was good to have as a comparison. So it could help.
