8 weeks post op!

WORTH IT
I'm now 8 weeks post op and the incisions are completely closed up! I started the embrace scar therapy treatment last week on the vertical incision of my tummy tuck.
I went shopping this evening and bought two little black dresses in size small!! I can hardly believe that I bought a small anything!!!

you look amazing!
You look good!
Wow amazing
Omg. I am having surgery with Goico in June and I am so glad I have come across your review. I too had wls and have so much skin to get rid of. Did you decide to get the fdl incision prior to you arriving or was it decided once you had your in person consultation? Also how do your breasts feel? Like I've always had huge boobs but w the weight loss they've disappeared. I'm undecided between a lift or implants. You look great. Thanks for sharing!!
Wow you look amazing and great job on wls . I'm also a wls patient. I started at 299.6 the day of surgery and now I'm 143. My surgery was June 23rd of 2014. I'm just now considering plastics and the FDL TT...still on the fence...what would you suggest...I do have a lot of upper abdomen skin and my thighs and legs was where I carried most of my weight. Your story makes me want to go forward with the FDL TT... absolutely amazing girl...you should be so proud of how far you've come on your journey.

6 weeks post op

I had a small set back last week with my aureolas. My skin was rejecting the dissolvable stitches, causing inflammation and puss to form. I was able to pull the ends of them out and cover the breasts in antibiotic cream, which cleared up the inflammation and puss within 24 hours. My belly button is the only place that still has a scab on it at 6 weeks post op. The incisions are all closed up and not too red!

27 days post op!

I'm 27 days post op and everything has closed up very nicely. I'm still having some hypersensitivity on my torso but I think it has more to do with the cold temperatures! I'm feeling really good at this point and getting back to my everyday life!

You are healing very nicely! Are you using anything for scaring?
Rosehip oil for now. Next week I'm going to start using embrace scar therapy tape
let me know the embrace scar therapy works I've been looking it to it
Awe good to know! Why Rosehip oil?
How are you feeling? Any issues?
Nothing really... my belly button had a bit of irritation, but hydrocortisone cream cleared that up. That only other issue has been that my body rejected the dissolvable stitches in my right breast. I used tweezers to pull them out and the hydrocortisone cream to clear up the irritation.
