Getting the ball rolling...
Hello fabulous dolls!
Time has been flying for me and now I only have 5 months to go. I have began to prepare;
*Sent my deposit/ secured my date-$250
*Received hubby and I's passport-$150 a piece
*Booked hubby and I's round trip flight- $1340.00 w/ AA
*Booked beachfront hotel :) It's called Hotel Shakey and it is a newer italian style apartment with 1 bedroom, living room, 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen and fridge. It also has a full balcony overlooking the beach and ocean. I figured that I wont be moving too much and will pretty much be in the room so I want to feel as luxurious as possible. 11 nights- $973.
*Started slowly buying supplies- Nursit Pillow (comparable to Boppy) $19
Extra large Chux- 25 pack $13
Black silk robe $15
Next purchase will likely be Makemeheal Vitamins pre/post op and lipo foam. I want to purchase and ab board but with my decision to have a TT, I don't believe I will need one. Most doctors don't recommend using one after a TT. Have you ladies read that you will need one for a TT?
I am sorry to report that I have been slacking in the gym. I have only been going 1-2 days a week. I still go hard and have been maintaining a 42.5-43.25'' hip measurement but my tummy has been growing. Not much but a whole inch. Which I justify by saying that will only be sucked out in 5 months.
With every large expense booked and paid for, I am pretty excited. I also follow Duran on IG and love staying in her loop.
I plan on maintaining a diet of at least 100gs of protein powder daily and drinking my bcaas at least every other day, also never missing my daily womens mutli vits, fish oil, and dandelion root, all of which I have been taking for years. These are very important not only for obvious health reasons but protein and bcaas (branch chain amino acids) are crucial for the production of collagen. This means healthy skin, hair and nails which equals more fat that can be squeezed into my hips and ass because my skin will be much more elastic. I also plan on rubbing coco butter daily on my booty starting at 3 months pre op. Because of all of this I have ZERO stretch marks on my belly from being pregnant. Fish oil= heart health, along with other great qualities, dandelion root = liver health and cleanse.
I am going to grow my booty as big as I can with weight training (shooting for 44'' with the help of creatine) to stretch my skin as well and then slowly decreasing it before sx so that I can have the extra room in there for fat. I am no expert but I hope these methods help me to maintain the best results for me.
Good luck to all you beauties and God bless!!

Driving vs. Flying
Hello wonderful women.
Quick question for the ladies who have already had this procedure (and anyone who wants to reply):
I am currently in Illinois and I am debating on whether I should drive to Miami and fly to the DR or fly the whole way. This of course means I would be driving back as well. It would be a 19 hour drive and I will be with hubby. I am considering driving for the circumstance of keeping my return flight short (2.5 hours from the DR to Miami) and being able to lay down in our truck for the ride home. But wow 19 hours is long. My biggest concern is a miserable flight return on my precious booty which could be up to 7 or 8 hours. I have looked into first class and would buy that in a heartbeat if I didn't have hubby with me but 2 first class tickets is just too expensive. I wouldn't be saving any money driving in fact it might add to the expenses in case we decide to stop and get a hotel on the way home.
What do you ladies think?

Fly... you will want to get home quickly once you start the journey to return home.
I was afraid every one would say that. How can I stay off my booty for 8+ hours?
Get a note from the doc asking them to allow you to be mobile when possible during the flight. Some attendants will allow you to stand when the seat belt light is off. I had to sit all the way because turbulence was frequent and quite bad. But think you will be home 11 hrs sooner!!
You are absolutely right. Thank you so much for your input. I will definitely be flying back.
Were you able to kneel on your seat or the floor? We're you flying alone? What was your airline? Did you use a boppy or other pillow?
I didn't kneel at all, but I didn't try or ask if I could. Sat all the way on both legs of the trip. Used a donut thing I found at walmart as it elevated you a bit more and tried to keep most of the weight on my thighs. I just thought the boopy would be too soft to keep my butt off the seat. My flights were fully booked so I felt it best to stay put. I did however choose an isle seat just in case I 'had' to get up I didn't want to be a bother especially if it was frequently. But I spent a lot of time balancing on my arms to keep the pressure off my butt lol. I flew alone. Used Delta airlines.
How do I get intouch with Duran?
Email her on Saturday. Write your email in Spanish and include pictures and health details.
Definitely fly home. It's too much for you to be in a car for so long before surgery. You will be sooo miserable
Thanks chica. I am really not looking forward to that long flight. :(
Hi Renee, I will be flying to Dominican on June 7th and my surgery in scheduled for June 9th. I will be staying at Recovery Armonia. Where do you plan on staying?
Hi Gracy. I will be traveling with my hubby so we plan on staying in a hotel. Good luck on everything!
One of the SMARTEST pre procedure women on here. HANDS DOWN! You are the ONLY review I have read where a woman is preparing her body for surgery by weight lifting and exercise. Everyone else thinks this surgery will be a magic want. Smart Cookie. your hard work has paid off. Look at that ass and those quads girl, damn. You gonna be a BRICK HOUSE!
Bless you doll! You are too kind. I appreciate your comments and I hope you're right. I have worked hard and I am wishing for the best. :) thanks again!
