I got a response back that my BMI was too high & consider losing weight. I have already been on my weight loss journey my goal is to be around 180 by Feb 2019! About a 35 pound weight difference. Im excited & challenged to reach this plateau in my life. I have not been under 200 pounds in over 10 years. Im ready! Thank you for all your support

I havent gotten a redponse but I want a feb date too! Im 180 and 5'3....im afraid if I lose weight.I wont have enough fat :/ so I didnt want to intentionally lose

What’s you BMI? Has he said it’s ok to have the surgery when you’ve lost the weight? :)
mine is 36 , must be 33 to perform surgery. Yes :)
My BMI is currently 33/34 but he said he will consider it if get it down to 31/32 and I’m 5’8 and weigh 220.5lbs. Anyway I’m looking at other surgeons in the DR and the one that has gotten back to be so far requires a BMI of 35 max, and the results of the clients they’ve done have been amazing, so may end up going there instead.
Sorry just realised I sent the wrong response about another doctor lol So Dr Duran’s will only do surgery on max BMI of 33? I think I’ll be ok for surgery and I just weighed myself this morning and I’m down to 217.6lbs yay :) Anyway hope to hear from her soon cause I really want to book in for 2nd week of Dec so fingers crossed.
Let me know if you get ahold of her! Im 2 secs away from getting a coordinator! Lol

@In3218 Finally got a quote from Duran! Paid my deposit and requested a date for 12th Feb as she has no availability till then. So just waiting for confirmation, how did you get on, have you got a quote yet?

Im interested in Duran as well, I haven’t contacted yet as I would like to lose weight before I do but also don’t want too much time to pass so I’m in bit of a dilemma! I wanted a date in August. How is your journey going so far?
You should go ahead and book your date cause you have plenty of time to work towards getting to your goal weight. If your bmi is above 33 just lie so you can get it down in time otherwise she won’t give you a quote. Even though I didn’t lie to get mine I still need to lose 15lbs in time for sx.
My birthday is in august so I might book this as a birthday gift to myself.
That’s what I did, my 40th is in September and I’m going to Vegas so wanted to be healed in time :)

Future Duran Doll! I have been browsing this site since '09. Finally made my own account and have made a promise to myself that I would give myself the body I always dreamed about. I have my heart set on Duran , first and foremost. I also like the work of Meija , Medina , Yily , mallol and Mercedes. I know Duran will give me my desired results plus I hear she works well on bigger females. I haven't always been over weight now that I am older it's has fluctuated up and down since 2011. I'm set on this now and in the process of getting things together for a sx date in Feb - March 2019 ! Would love to hear from some post op Doll , waiting on a couple quotes now.

I am also trying to book for feb or march 2019 and I also still want to loose some weight (approx. 20lbs) before sx date. did you get your quotes already? I ll be following your review doll. Good luck with the weight loss I know its hard but we can do it!!!!
Got a few other quotes before I finally got one from Duran who is no.1 on my list and wanted to book for Dec but she has no availability till Feb, so paid my deposit and requested a date for 12th Feb, so waiting for confirmation. Although I am considering Mallol if I can get the Dec date but I have to see if my deposit can be transferred. I’m also working on losing about 15lbs as per Duran’s suggestion, to get my BMI lower than the 33 I currently am. Anyways I’ll keep you dolls posted on my booking situation, and good luck with getting those extra pounds off :)

Future DURAN DOLL 2019!

Soo excited to get a response from Dr Duran the same day I sent email! My heart is set on her an her beautiful work. Duran Dolls I have many questions. I want to hear your stories & recovery house recommendations! I will be bringing my fiance along with me. Im not nervous to visit DR, however im sure as the journey comes along I will be. Please send me a list of supplies , beauty boxs , info on water (heard it was contaminated,YIKES!) recovery houses , the recover process , supplements for healing & Credit & financing (carecredit, not sure if they take that) tests and labs to be done before hand..ect. I have been looking into this for 9 years! I have made up my mind 2019 is my year to shine! ! I am praying a date is available before Summer '19 & my BMI / health is on point. I already did my calculations just need to lose 35 pounds for my BMI to be in range. I am from Las Vegas so if any dolls from there please contact me! God will bless me with the body of my dreams, im sure of it !

I think you should loose weight first that way you won’t have unrealistic expectations when you get off the surgery table.
