Hey girls! My sx date is fast approaching and I'm so excited! I'm 32, 5'4, and weigh around 145. I will be getting liposculpture and BBL. so far Leslie (Dr. Almonte's assistant) has been great with scheduling and answering all of my questions. If any of you are traveling around the same time hit a sista up! :) Also, if you had surgery with Dr. Almonte please feel free to tell me how your experience was. Stay Far Away from Tropical Deluxe Recovery House!!!

Hey dolls! I am officially 9 days post op! I had Lipo to my stomach
and back and bbl. Dr. Almonte and her team are fantastic! I felt very
safe and in good hands with them the whole entire time. Dr. Almonte
prayed with me before surgery! So I knew God was going to cover me and
protect me throughout the entire process. I am still very sore and the
areas where I was lipoed feels very tight. But I'm taking it one day at a
time. I will post some pictures around one month post op because I
still have a lot of swelling.
The bad part of my experience came from my recovery house. I stayed
at tropical deluxe recovery house. Please do yourself a favor and do not
not stay here if you want a peaceful relaxing stay after your surgery. I
am not one to bash anyone's business and give bad reviews but I
honestly don't want anyone else to go through what I went through, as
well as the other 3 girls that were there with me as well. The owner's
daughter, Esther, runs this place. She will use you and take advantage
of you and rob you out of every penny you have. From over charging for
medicines, from charging you 100 extra to have a driver(when it's
supposed to be included), to pressuring you to buy "her stage 2 faja."
She tries to squeeze every dime out of you so she can pocket money for
herself. And her attitude is horrible. When you try to get the owner
Ruth involved, Ruth says she has nothing to do with it and to deal with
the daughter. They mixed me and my roommates medicine up which could
have been deadly. Oh and we went days without AC. There driver Diango
kept asking my roommate for 10 dollars to drive her. This place is money
hungry and they could care less about you. Staying there was the worst
experience of my life and it would be wrong if I didn't share my
experience with you guys.
But ending on a positive note I
loved my doctor and so far loving my results. I'm just waiting for he
swelling to go down. Does anyone know how long it takes for the swelling
and tightness of the skin to go away? Also, my butt feels hard as a
rock:/ can't wait for it to loosen up a bit and become jiggly lol..

and you have to mentally strong to endure it!

Hey doll, sorry to hear about that you were not able to recover in peace. Thank you for letting us know all your experience there. Where you assigned to that recovery house by Lesley or did you picked it on your own? because I will make sure I stay away from that place. How are you feeling ? Happy healing

I picked it on my own unfortunately:( but I'm feeling great. Moving around good. I ordered my stage 2 faja.. Just waiting for it to come in the mail. Other than that I'm just really stiff and sore and my butt feels hard as a rock.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with the recovery house, but I'm excited to see your results! I hope you have an easy recovery. I'm scheduled with Dr. Almonte in February. I just need to send my deposit, which will be next week.
I'm a little worried though because I had seen a while back where someone was pretending to be Lesley and it seemed very legit. I've seen different information on different reviews as to where to send the money. Since your procedure was recent, can you tell me or post a picture of the bank/transfer info that you sent your money to? I want to see if it matches.

I got a bbl July 11 and my butt still looks the same.... Flat! This is ridiculous. I want my money back. I didnt go through all of this to still have a flat butt. This is what I get for switching from Duran to Almonte at the last minute. I got scared from a few horror stories that Duran had and switched to Almonte. But I should've stayed with Duran. I would have had better results.

are you sure it wasn't 1200 total? id ask her to clarify. this slightly worries me I don't have a lot of fat and am going to her in feb.. thisisthe first review I have found that a person is not happy with the results. * but in my opinion... your but looks like its rounder and has lift to it.. it looks bigger to me.. but if you were going for the "big butt" look.. then yeah... Id say you could go for a round 2.. but its def bigger than what you had...

Maybe it's just my eyes....but I see a difference. Your butt was more square before, where as now it appears more fuller. Also I think your abdomen wasn't overly big or "fatty" to begin with....so I guess she didn't have as much fat to give a difference? Or maybe if she did your waist smaller it would appear more curvy. But I understand what you're saying...things are not as u expected. I hope things improve and I'm sorry u aren't liking your experience...that can be frustrating. Please let us know how much cc's were added if u know. And have u expressed your dislikes to Dra. Almonte?

She said she put in 1200 cc's which doesn't sound right. I guess my body absorbed a lot of the fat. She also said I'm very swollen and have a lot of inflammation so she said it takes time and you don't see your final results until 3 months.... But still??? it looks flat to me.

I think maybe she meant 1200 in total....so u (Probably) got 600 in each?...At this point, it already happened with almonte....it's only natural to wonder what the results would have been if gone to another surgeon. The best thing right now is to give it time and focus on recovery. I hope the results are within your liking in the end. Now I'm more nervous on choosing which doctor I should go with....
