I made 2 months on September 5, 2018. I truly am loving my results. I feel more confident and feel better in my clothes. I get SOOO many compliments on my booty! I love it!! The only problem I'm having is understanding what size I am. I have completely cleared out my closet and have started shopping for clothing that compliments my new body. I'm enjoying the journey...still believe it was a great decision!

This is the best journey I've read so far... not just due to the before and afters, but the amount of time, detail and thoughtfulness you put into each post. I really felt like you wrote it from the position of someone new to this journey - as if you were providing information you sought while researching. Thank you. ------- Also, for the clothes, I'm all gut, no but lol! Naive me was thinking that for bottoms, I'd still where the same size. The fat or stretch would just shift from the front to the back....especially since my thighs are staying put. I take it that's not the case? Tops I size for my gut so I expect that to change. What are the biggest challenges/differences when you wear your old clothes? ANNNNND.... Do you find that you're naturally losing weight after the surgery because you're more motivated to be out and about/active.
Gosh, it's been a while. So sorry for the late response. I really need to post some more pics. Can't believe it's been this long. Losing weight was a lot easier!! I was so much more motivated. Since my surgery, I lost a lot of weight. After COVID I gained, and I'm back in the gym...but let me tell you...the curves are still there...my ass just gets bigger. It's worth the journey!!

1 Month Comparison Photos
These are my 1-month pre-op/post-op comparison photos to show my progress so far. The swelling for me is no joke....OMG!!! But he removed so much fat, so I guess its understandable....everyone says the swelling should resolve in about 3 months. Regardless, I'm still happy with my results, I see my body getting better daily and I get so many compliments!! Besides the swelling, the area where my drain was is refusing to heal. I messed up and started putting Neosporin on it...big mistake....continue to use the Tecassol powder they give you ladies...it works!! I just clean it know with wound cleanser, dry, add the powder and bandage....it's starting to improve! I'm not perfect....but OMG what an improvement, I love the way my clothes fit!! Hello, you look amazing that's awesome!!! I know the feeling I too had a mommy makeover 4 years ago. But, my butt has gone south. I think I read somewhere on your post that you are in the medical field. I am in the medical field myself. A surgical tech to be exact. So my concern is their sterily... how is Dr Mercedes practice obviously you came out well with no infections. Could you put my mind at ease. Thank you and once again you look great!!!

21 days Post-Op progress and New Faja
Well, it has been 21 days and the pain and soreness are getting better! I had my first lymphatic massage since coming back home and it felt wonderful!! Still a little fluid on belly but after the massage it felt so much better. Here are some pics of my progress...later dolls!!

You look great! How long before you can stop sleeping on your back?
I'm now about 1 month post op and I'm sleeping on my sides now. I still can't sleep on my belly...I guess with the faja and padding it's too much pull...I don't know, but it's uncomfortable.
