I would recommend this doctor. Great personality very approachable. Takes time with his patients and is caring. His staff is also amazing, they come and hug and great the patients and call them by name. The only problem is not all speak English, just 2 fluently enough (Lauryn & Ms. Reyes) but the others go out of their way to communicate. Dr. Mercedes communicates well, he is so adorable!

The Beginning
Hello Dolls,
It hasn't been very easy for me starting these reviews so, please bear with me. I've already had my surgery, but I will give you a brief recap leading up to my big day.
HISTORY:
Well, like most of us on here I have also been stalking Realself for years, four to be exact!! I've wanted this surgery for a while but wasn't ready for it until now. I'm a Registered Nurse and single mother of 3 boys. At my heaviest I wieghed 244lbs, I got down to 194lbs, but gained some wieght back, the before pics show me at 215lbs, my wieght before surgery.
My measurements were:
Bust: 42"
Waist: 46" (wow)
Hips: 44"
As you can see everything was out of porportion. Once I'm healed I'll give you updated measurements.
DOCTOR CHOICE:
I'll spare you the lengthly list of doctors I been through, but I decided on a DR plastic surgeon because the doctors in America were just too expensive and the work was not as good as the foriegn doctors. This is not said to offend any doctor, but it's just my opinion. I've seen and compared surgeons and the women who went abroad bodies seemed to be more bagging. Like I said, it's just me opinon. But, if you had one in the states who did the same comparable work, you were going to pay for them. Per my family wishes I tried to stay in the states and consulted with Dr. Dass.....love him by the way...him and his staff where extremely perfessional. However he quoted me $ 20,100 for the BBL + TT + Lipo.
Now my doctor: Dr. Argeny Mercedes, can't remember how I found him, in four years you can do a tone of research, but I liked his work. He did a BBL + TT + 360 Lipo plus axillary surgery (he removed extra breast tissue from under my arms), lipoed my inner thighs and arms for $5280 USD (minus dedutable)....YESSSS! Do you see what I'm talking about! Sorry about the number at the top, Realself is not very user friendly, once I put in the surgery location, it changed the currency.
COMMUNICATION:
Dr. Mercedes staff is really awesome. I must admit communicting and sending money to strangers overseas is daunting, but they are real and I did have my surgery...lol. I mainly communicated with his staff through Whatsapp. $400 deposit was sent through Western Union, and any questions I had was handled in a timely manner. There were some difficulties, Lauryn is his assistant, she is the cutest. Well, a lot of times I had to ask the same question over and over, but I feel that was more of a cultural and barrier between the languages.
ACCOMADATIONS:
There are so many options for you ladies. I really would have perfered to stay in a Recovery House (RH), but I had to bring my mom and youngest son with me. I decided to rent a condo through Air BnB. Then I hired a private nurse to assist me. You will need to hire a nurse for your 24 hours clinic stay, then I had them come visit me for 2 days afterwards.

Excited to read more about your journey. I have been looking into his work recently and I must admit I am impressed what what I have been seeing on his IG page. I recently had TT surgery done in Turkey and I am not happy with the outcome. Now looking into DR doctors for a revision and lipo of my flanks and arms.

Also do u have pics of how your BBL looks? Would u recommend getting all that done at once? omg how do u sleep? i can only imagine! are u in the worst pain of your life? sorry i just have soooo many questions cause im ready to book!

OMG Girl you look AMAZING!! Im happy you made it on the other side safely! Im praying for the same his work looks amazing!!! Iam so ready for this!! Supplies
When it comes to supplies everyone should get a list from your doctor. I'll post what Dr. Mercedes assistant sent me, but honestly some of these things you will need and some of them you won't.
If you're going to a recovery house you probably won't need a lot of medical supplies. Check with your RH to see what they provide and what they don't. As mentioned before I didn't stay at a recovery house so I had to bring what I thought I needed and I must say I went overboard! A lot of stuff I didn't need. But, these are some of the things that are a must and I used on a reg. The female urinal was something I initially used, but a few days in, I preferred to sit on the toilet.
My must haves:
Aloe Vesta Perineal/Skin Cleanser-this stuff is awesome, brought this off amazon. You will not be able to shower for a while. I used this stuff to cleanse myself all over. I refused to just wipe off with baby wipes, so for me, the baby wipes were a waste of money. I used this stuff daily on my peri area and on my body to wipe off that paraffin wax smell from the messages. It wasn't a bad smell I just hated it.
Cottonelle wipes: used these daily
Bio oil and Arnicare gel: brought off Amazon, not the best smell, but mixed them together and rubbed on my bruises.
Dulcolax and Colace: You will have problems going to the RR, please make sure you have these two things. Also when taking pain medication, this can slow down your digestive tract. Don't take it daily, but if you haven't gone in 2-3 days then start.
Pain Meds: fack an injury or something, but try to bring your own, b/c this mess they have, you...mind as well take Tylenol. I had Norco from gallbladder surgery so I brought that. Your pain, at least for me, was more the lipo, my TT wasn't painful!
These were my must-haves that I can think of, I think they'll be helpful for you guys too. But, bottom line, pack what YOU will need. Don't try to bring the whole house b/c it will cost ya.

Stop using Multivitamin (because the vitamine A and E promote the bleeding) at least 2 weeks before your surgery.

3. Compression socks

5. Face towels
6. Tooth paste,
?7. Tooth brush,
8. Mouth wash (preferably the travel size).

?10. Summer dresses about 3 or 4
11. One cotton tank ( I brought several, you have to wear this under your faja)
?12. Laptop, Ipad or cellphone
?13. If you have diabetic bring your Gluco Test. They could be required during the stay at home recovery.
?14. Bring constipation pills, usually after surgery is necessary. Also you can buy it here.
?15. If you have asthma bring the drugs for nebulization. They could be required during your time at the home recovery.

?18. Boppy pillow (BBL)

As for my clothing. I packed light, only a week worth of clothing, we washed daily. Maxi dresses are your friend! I brought 2 yoga pants and big t-shirts when I sent site seeing. Also, bring some pajama shorts (this was just easier for me). When you have on your faja you can just use them to walk around in. I didn't use any underwear.
