I quit smoking several years ago after 20 years. I had many fine lines which Dr.Karamanoukian took care of with CO2 laser. However my nasolabial folds were deep, and I had very strong marrionette lines. I am one of the happiest people I know, but my face looked "down" and the marrionette lines looked as if I were frowning all the time. After my eyelid surgery,and a 50 pound weight loss, I decided to "add the cherry on the cake" so to speak. We used half a vial and the results were instantaneous! When the nurse handed me the mirror I started to cry. It was better than I had even imagined.My boyfriend, who is not that easily impressed said it was "Absolutely Amazing". He never speaks like this. He could not stop talking about it on the way home. He said I looked at least 6 years younger (which is his age) Finally we match! I will continue to use Sculptra as needed. I have read not so positive reviews on Sculptra, but I beleive you must seek someone highly qualified with an artist's eye as well. This is why I would highly recommend Dr. Karamanoukian. Everytime I have gone to him I received a fantastic outcome. Sculptra and Dr. K together perform miracles!

What was the procedure like? Did you have any pain or swelling?
The pain was a "stinging" pain but the procedure was very quick. I had some swelling for the first 3 days but today (day 4) I notice swelling and slight bruising has diminished considerably.
Did you have an eyelid lift as well? I'm also considering having a little work done I am 58 years old . BTW your face looks much better
Hi and thank you. Yes I wrote another review on my eyelid surgery. I had very droopy lids, you could only see a fraction of my eye. I would highly recommend both procedures. I look years younger. I did a lot of research on my Dr. and find his work fabulous. Dr. Karamanoukian in Santa Monica
Did Dr. Karamanoukain also do your eyelid surgery? Was it covered by insurance?

Wow that's a great deal. Are they saving the other half for you or was that $540 for half a vial? They're charging me $1200 for 2 vials here.
You look like 25-27. Is it all sculptra or anything else too? I'm very impressed!! You look very young!

The sculptra made a huge difference in plumping out lines from smoking. I will definately keep doing sculptra.
