Dr. Cohen is Really Good at What He Does!

Dr. Cohen is wonderful! I had been wanting to get a breast reduction for years and finally decided that I was tired of the back pain and feeling self conscious. I wore XL shirts, I wore a sports bra and sports shirt as a bathing suit top and could never find a bra that fit. When I finally decided to get the reduction, I did a lot of research to find a good plastic surgeon. Dr. Cohen had amazing reviews from patients and perfect reviews on Health Grades. I also watched an interview he did, which gave me a glimpse of who he is and of what he does. After all my research, he was who I wanted to do my surgery. From the moment I called the office, I knew I had picked the right place. The staff is very friendly, professional and caring. I had lots of questions and they were quick to respond to my emails and were helpful and understanding. I really appreciated that. When I first did my phone conference with Dr. Cohen, I knew I had made the right choice. He is professional, kind, answered all my questions, and I never felt like he was rushing me to get to the next patient, like many doctors do. I knew I made the right choice. Meeting with him in person was the same experience. We went over everything together and I was informed on everything, questions were answered, he was very professional, but still very kind and caring. The day of my surgery was great. I was very nervous, but the nurse totally put me at ease. It was very smoothly run and efficient from start to finish. Everyone involved was super nice and put me at ease. After surgery, I did have some discomfort, but nothing like I'd imagined. I was AMAZED at my surgery! Dr. Cohen is REALLY good at what he does. I could see my waist again! One God-send that happened as a result of my surgery was that when they sent my tissue to the pathologist (they have to do this), they found a very small DCIS, which is pre-cancerous, but left undetected could turn into breast cancer. Dr. Cohen was so nice to me and comforting to me when he let me know and referred me out to a really good doctor. Since I had had the DCIS I needed to see several other doctors just to make sure I was ok. I am and I am only on a prevention med to keep the DCIS from coming back in the future. My point in mentioning this is that as I saw all these other doctors and nurses, everyone was amazed at the results of my reduction and couldn't believe that I had just recently had surgery. EVERY doctor and nurse said Dr. Cohen had done a really amazing job. I think so too and I am very happy with my results. My shirts are now mediums, I actually found a bathing suit in a regular store, I wear these super comfortable bras now with NO underwire...yippee! I really wish I would have done this sooner. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Cohen. He is really good at what he does!!
