After 10+ years of thinking/researching...backing out...and then researching more I'm taking the plunge! I'm 26 years old, 5'07, 150 lbs (ish) and have A/small B cup boobs (depending on which one you look at LOL!) . Although I don't necessarily mind having small boobies, I DO mind the mild tuberous thing that I've got going on. Not cute. I have to say, though, coming from a mother with DD+ boobies does NOT seem fair! W.T.F??
SO...I went in for a consult 6 months ago and have been kicking myself ever since for scheduling so far in advance. The wait KILLS!!!! Going back and forth about size (too big??? Too small?? Ahhh!!!) I don't want to look like I have cantaloupes strapped to my chest, but l also don't want to spend 8 grand to look like I just threw a little padding in my bra. I guess as long as the shape is decent a little bit bigger or smaller than I'd ideally like doesn't matter.
I'll be getting 440cc (I think) cohesive gel mid profile Sientra implants. Under the muscle, areolar incision w/ a lift. I'm trusting the expertise of my surgeon and leaving a lot of the details up to him. But we seem to be on the same page so it works out!
So with 9 days (not that I'm counting!) to go and after just having my pre-op appointment, I'm starting to really buckle down and get stuff together. I've got a shopping list of necessities (cocoa butter, mederma, arnica, bromelain, etc) and have my prescriptions ready to be filled and I'm DYING to get it done with!!!
Well I get to go to work now (guess I have to pay for these things!). Hopefully I'll figure how to upload photos a little later. In the meantime, thanks to all you ladies for cojones (so to speak) to go through with this! So excited!!
So a week and some change til I get boobs! I got...
P.S. Did anyone else get a little sad saying goodbye to their girls? I'm excited but just a tad sentimental...

Thank you for sharing your story on RealSelf! Sounds like you're ready to go! Do you have help during your recovery? You may also want to show your PS photos of your desired outcome. Love your rice sizer photos! As far as being sentimental, well, it was brief and fleeting moment for me! :)

It's completely normal to be nervous. Try to busy yourself with cleaning the house, grocery shopping, etc. You're almost there!
Holy crap I'm freaking out!!!! Every so often it...
Here's to keeping my sanity!
