I used to apply make up all day long to hide my blemishes and acne! I thought it was horrible but it is my security blanket. I could actually look people in the eyes when talking to them or it just gave me confidence to step out of my house. I used to run to the bathroom every hour with my purse to reapply powder. I never talk badly about people who wear make up because no matter how that person looks, they're still going to carry them the same way. I know when I have make up on i sway my hips a little harder and laugh a bit louder, but whose telling me I cant? That's the real person trying to come out of me, it's my true personality. Wear your make up to the grocery store, on a hike, to the gym, to drop off your kids at school! If that's when you feel most confident then do it!

Yes! I have very deep scars and the only thing that makes my skin appear smoother is "the pore fessional" by benefit. Then my foundation that is full coverage but super light weight is, "beyond perfecting" by Clinique. They're both a bit pricey but since you only need to apply a small amount it lasts me up to a good 3 months. What I notice that helps very much is a good amount of lotion with sunscreen before applying make up. Aswell as allowing the lotion to dry for about 10 mins before applying make up :)

Thanks I will try it! It's so hard to find makeup because of my acne holes in my skin and the bright red marks on my fair skin. I can't wear makeup other are wearing it's way to light to Cover anything :/

Go to ulta or sephora and they will match you to the right color, sephora has this high tech camera gun that that they use. Clinigue just came out with this new fondation and

That's funny that you asked, I have been this week but I think it's just because I switched my dosage from 40mg a day to now 20mg. But other then this week, no I havent!

Make up haters have obviously never dealt with acne. It's easy for someone with flawless skin to make negative comments about makeup. You are gorgeous with or without makeup. Thank you for sharing.

Last month!
My dermatologist told me that this is my last month, I don't need to do 6 months just 5. Although I'm not to happy with the scarring, I'm okay with no more acne. I still have very red skin but that should go away with in a month of being off accutane. Here are some recent photos, The scarring very noticeable in some.

You have some similar scars on your temples as I do, after 6months of being done with the treatment, I am considering doing some injectible silicone fillers by Dr. Jay Barnett (heard he's very good). However, I am still doing research about it. :)

You know your cute right Donna ? your scar isn't that bad, remember Co2 laser + subcision and fat transfer, check with DR Phillip Young he's pro to that. Imagine you're even look cute with acne and scar, when your scar and acne gone ? O M G ;)

Congrats on coming up to your last month! :) Must feel good to know you're coming to the end of it! Just think after waiting a few months you can start doing stuff for your scarring (I can't wait to get treatment for mine ^.^)

Stuck.
I haven't been to happy with my face these past few days.. Although I dont have anymore acne, my scars make my face look even more uneven then before. Maybe I'm just asking for way to much but I just wish I could have even skin. These scars just reminded me of how long
I waited to start the process. If you are on the ledge about accutane just do it now or your scars and damage skin will Show later the longer you wait! The pictures don't do justice of how it looks in person but if you look closely you could see scaring. I'm Still hopeful!

Ask an honest dermatology. He will tell you to stop as soon as your acne is gone. Dont let accumulate more doses of this product. You ll regret later

Hey Donna how ya doin ? the Man behind you looked like Dai-Lu (Boss) ;) i gotta be honest to you, your scar condition is severe that was the reason why i keep telling people not to take accutane and let the acne heal naturally, remember in other post i told you that Accutane cause liver damage or slow functioning and makes your scar even worse, if you ask your friend about Chinese Herbal and Medicine they will explain how your liver works, (remember LIVER = Skin, Lung = Breathing, Heart = Blood flow, Kidney = Water, abdomen = Food) the 5 elements of your body like this world has (Fire water wood Wind Earth) they all related, i stopped my acne naturally like i said i only have scar due to picking and popping in my teenager, took me 5 years. The Acne does not make scar as long as you don't touch, DR said accutane heal acne scar, well it's true but only if PATIENT that not effect with Liver malfunction, some patient do so the scars got worst, you can Google or look in here, most of patient complained about their scars got worst. i had friends that suffered severe acne and i put him on a test too, ive been testing many many difference way, i know it well, ALL Doctor have no ACNE they only tells by the book, book sometimes not 100% right. I had 1 Giant acne, i treated it naturally and it didn't leave any scar behind when its gone. Anyways up to you babe, the scar on your face, i suggest Co2 laser + revision and excision. Don't waste your time and money on Fraxel it's will not work for your scar type, best is to surgery and Co2. i see one best scar DR on here, (Phillip Young) i thin he's the only one can clear your scars. i'm from Canada too far for me if i live near him ill go to him.

I'm done with accutane at the end of July so I'm just going to continue. The scarring is my own damage from all my picking when I was younger, not the accutanes fault. That's my dad by the way, but yeah I'm just going to let it heal naturally when Im finish and see how that goes but I will definitely continue updating when I'm

you have cool dad by the way, oh i see ya me used to picked and popped acne when i was a teen too now left with scars, so everything went good ? i hope there will be no severe side effect for you, i met a young guy in real life at a party, he has ton of acne more than yours, we talked about accutane he said he took 7 rounds of accutane which 3 years+ 50mg, he said, accutane did not work for him, it lasts for a year only, wow 7 rounds of accutane !! one bad thing happened to him was, his vision is now totally reduced, he is 26 years old but his size is as small as a 10 years old boy. well your scar isn't that bad, next year tell dad to give you money for Co2 laser and subcision or fat transfer, don't do Fraxel or Non-Ablative, it won't work for our Asian Skin.
